LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 And the heavens and the earth are completed, and all their host; 1 Y FUERON acabados los cielos y la tierra, y todo su ornamento.
1 The heavens, the earth, and all their vast array were finished.
2 and God completes by the seventh day His work which He has made, and ceases by the seventh day from all His work which He has made.
2 On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done.
3 And God blesses the seventh day, and sanctifies it, for in it He has ceased from all His work which God had created for making.
3 God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.
4 These [are] the generations of the heavens and of the earth in their being created, in the day of YHWH God’s making the earth and the heavens; 4 Estos son los orígenes de los cielos y de la tierra cuando fueron criados, el día que Jehová Dios hizo la tierra y los cielos,
4 This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh God made the earth and the heavens.
5 and no shrub of the field is yet in the earth, and no herb of the field yet sprouts, for YHWH God has not rained on the earth, and there is not a man to serve the ground, 5 Y toda planta del campo antes que fuese en la tierra, y toda hierba del campo antes que naciese: porque aun no había Jehová Dios hecho llover sobre la tierra, ni había hombre para que labrase la tierra;
5 No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Yahweh God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground,
6 and a mist goes up from the earth, and has watered the whole face of the ground.
6 but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground.
7 And YHWH God forms the man—dust from the ground, and breathes into his nostrils breath of life, and the man becomes a living creature.
7 Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And YHWH God plants a garden in Eden, at the east, and He sets there the man whom He has formed; 8 Y había Jehová Dios plantado un huerto en Edén al oriente, y puso allí al hombre que había formado.
8 Yahweh God planted a garden eastward, in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 and YHWH God causes to sprout from the ground every tree desirable for appearance, and good for food, and the Tree of Life in the midst of the garden, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
9 Out of the ground Yahweh God made every tree to grow that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river is going out from Eden to water the garden, and from there it is parted, and has become four chief [rivers]; 10 Y salía de Edén un río para regar el huerto, y de allí se repartía en cuatro ramales.
10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted, and became the source of four rivers.
11 the name of the first [is] Pison, it [is] that which is surrounding the whole land of Havilah where the gold [is], 11 El nombre del uno era Pisón: éste es el que cerca toda la tierra de Havilah, donde hay oro:
11 The name of the first is Pishon: it flows through the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 and the gold of that land [is] good; the bdellium and the shoham stone [are] there; 12 Y el oro de aquella tierra es bueno: hay allí [también] bdelio y piedra cornerina.
12 and the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and onyx stone are also there.
13 and the name of the second river [is] Gihon, it [is] that which is surrounding the whole land of Cush; 13 El nombre del segundo río es Gihón: éste es el que rodea toda la tierra de Etiopía.
13 The name of the second river is Gihon. It is the same river that flows through the whole land of Cush.
14 and the name of the third river [is] Hiddekel, it [is] that which is going east of Asshur; and the fourth river is the Euphrates.
14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel. This is the one which flows in front of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
15 And YHWH God takes the man, and causes him to rest in the Garden of Eden, to serve it and to keep it. 15 Tomó, pues, Jehová Dios al hombre, y le puso en el huerto de Edén, para que lo labrara y lo guardase.
15 Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.
16 And YHWH God lays a charge on the man, saying, “From every tree of the garden eating you eat; 16 Y mandó Jehová Dios al hombre, diciendo: De todo árbol del huerto comerás;
16 Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
17 but from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you do not eat from it, for in the day of your eating from it—dying you die.” 17 Mas del árbol de ciencia del bien y del mal no comerás de él; porque el día que de él comieres, morirás.
17 but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”
18 And YHWH God says, “[It is] not good for the man to be alone; I make him a helper as his counterpart.” 18 Y dijo Jehová Dios: No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; haréle ayuda idónea para él.
18 Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
19 And YHWH God forms from the ground every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens, and brings [them] to the man, to see what he calls it; and whatever the man calls a living creature, that [is] its name.
19 Out of the ground Yahweh God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature became its name.
20 And the man calls names to all the livestock, and to bird of the heavens, and to every beast of the field; but for man a helper has not been found as his counterpart.
20 The man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper comparable to him.
21 And YHWH God causes a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he sleeps, and He takes one of his ribs, and closes up flesh in its stead. 21 Y Jehová Dios hizo caer sueño sobre Adam, y se quedó dormido: entonces tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar;
21 Yahweh God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22 And YHWH God builds up the rib which He has taken out of the man into a woman, and brings her to the man; 22 Y de la costilla que Jehová Dios tomó del hombre, hizo una mujer, y trájola al hombre.
22 Yahweh God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
23 and the man says, “This at last! Bone of my bone, and flesh of my flesh!” For this is called Woman, for this has been taken from Man; 23 Y dijo Adam: Esto es ahora hueso de mis huesos, y carne de mi carne: ésta será llamada Varona, porque del varón fué tomada.
23 The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.”
24 therefore a man leaves his father and his mother, and has cleaved to his wife, and they have become one flesh.
24 Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
25 And both of them are naked, the man and his wife, and they are not ashamed of themselves.
25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they were not ashamed.
