1 ΚΑΙ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὴν τελευτὴν Μωυσῆ, εἶπε Κύριος τῷ Ἰησοῖ υἱῷ Ναυῆ τῷ ὑπουργῷ Μωυσῆ, λέγων,

1 Y ACONTECIÓ después de la muerte de Moisés siervo de Jehová, que Jehová habló á Josué hijo de Nun, ministro de Moisés, diciendo:

1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of Yahweh, Yahweh spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ servant, saying,

2 Μωυσῆς ὁ θεράπωνμου τετελεύτηκε. νῦν οὖν ἀναστὰς, διάβηθι τὸν Ἰορδάνην σὺ καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς οὗτος εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι αὐτοῖς.

2 Mi siervo Moisés es muerto: levántate pues ahora, y pasa este Jordán, tú y todo este pueblo, á la tierra que yo les doy á los hijos de Israel.

2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go across this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am giving to them, even to the children of Israel.

3 πᾶς ὁ τόπος ἐφʼ ὃν ἂν ἐπιβῆτε τῷ ἴχνει τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν, ὑμῖν δώσω αὐτόν, ὃν τρόπον εἴρηκα τῷ Μωυσῇ·

3 Yo os he entregado, como lo había dicho á Moisés, todo lugar que pisare la planta de vuestro pie.

3 I have given you every place that the sole of your foot will tread on, as I told Moses.

4 Τὴν ἔρημον καὶ τὸν Ἀντιλίβανον, ἕως τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου, ποταμοῦ Εὐφράτου, καὶ ἕως τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἐσχάτης· ἀφʼ ἡλίου δυσμῶν ἔσται τὰ ὅρια ὑμῶν.

4 Desde el desierto y este Líbano hasta el gran río Eufrates, toda la tierra de los Hetheos hasta la gran mar del poniente del sol, será vuestro término.

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.

5 οὐκ ἀντιστήσεται ἄνθρωπος κατενώπιον ὑμῶν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς σου· καὶ ὥσπερ ἤμην μετὰ Μωυσῆ, οὕτως ἔσομαι καὶ μετὰ σοῦ, καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψω σε οὐδʼ ὑπερόψομαί σε.

5 Nadie te podrá hacer frente en todos los días de tu vida: como yo fuí con Moisés, seré contigo; no te dejaré, ni te desampararé.

5 No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.

6 Ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου· σὺ γὰρ ἀποδιεῖς τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ τὴν γῆν, ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσινν ὑμῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς.

6 Esfuérzate y sé valiente: porque tú repartirás á este pueblo por heredad la tierra, de la cual juré á sus padres que [la] daría á ellos.

6 “Be strong and courageous; for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

7 Ἴσχυε οὖν καὶ ἀνδρίζου, φυλάσσεσθαι καὶ ποιεῖν καθότι ἐνετείλατό σοι Μωυσῆς ὁ παῖς μου· καὶ οὐκ ἐκκλινεῖς ἀπʼ αὐτῶν εἰς δεξιὰ οὐδὲ εἰς ἀριστερὰ, ἵνα συνῇς ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐὰν πράσσῃς.

7 Solamente te esfuerces, y seas muy valiente, para cuidar de hacer conforme á toda la ley que mi siervo Moisés te mandó: no te apartes de ella ni á diestra ni á siniestra, para que seas prosperado en todas las cosas que emprendieres.

7 Only be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you. Don’t turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.

8 Καὶ οὐκ ἀποστήσεται ἡ βίβλος τοῦ νόμου τούτου ἐκ τοῦ στόματός σου, καὶ μελετήσεις ἐν αὐτῇ ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς, ἵνα εἰδῇς ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ γεγραμμένα· τότε εὐοδωθήσῃ, καὶ εὐοδώσεις τὰς ὁδούς σου, καὶ τότε συνήσεις.

8 El libro de aquesta ley nunca se apartará de tu boca: antes de día y de noche meditarás en él, para que guardes y hagas conforme á todo lo que en él está escrito: porque entonces harás prosperar tu camino, y todo te saldrá bien.

8 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

9 Ἰδοὺ ἐντέαλμαί σοι· ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου, μὴ δειλιάσῃς, μηδὲ φοβηθῇ, ὅτι μετὰ σοῦ Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου εἰς πάντα οὗ ἐὰν πορεύῃ·

9 Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente: no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios será contigo en donde quiera que fueres.

9 Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.”

10 Καὶ ἐνετείλατο Ἰησοῦς τοῖς γραμματεῦσιν τοῦ λαοῦ, λέγων,

10 Y Josué mandó á los oficiales del pueblo, diciendo:

10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

11 Εἰσέλθατε κατὰ μέσον τῆς παρεμβολῆς τοῦ λαοῦ, καὶ ἐντείλασθε τῷ λαῷ, λέγοντες, ἐτοιμάζεσθε ἐπισιτισμόν, ὅτι ἔτι τρεῖς ἡμέραι καὶ ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ἰορδάνην τοῦτον, εἰσελθόντες κατασχεῖν τὴν γῆν, ἣν Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν δίδωσιν ὑμῖν.

11 Pasad por medio del campo, y mandad al pueblo, diciendo: Preveníos de comida; porque dentro de tres días pasaréis el Jordán, para que entréis á poseer la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os da para que la poseáis.

11 “Pass through the middle of the camp, and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare food; for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which Yahweh your God gives you to possess.’”

12 Καὶ τῷ Ῥουβὴν, καὶ τῷ Γὰδ, καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασσῆ εἶπεν Ἰησοῦς,

12 También habló Josué á los Rubenitas y Gaditas, y á la media tribu de Manasés, diciendo:

12 Joshua spoke to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, saying,

13 μνήσθητε τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐνετείλατο ὑμῖν Μωυσῆς ὁ παῖς Κυρίου, λέγων, Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ὑμῶν κατέπαυσεν ὑμᾶς, καὶ ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν ταύτην.

13 Acordaos de la palabra que Moisés, siervo de Jehová, os mandó diciendo: Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado reposo, y os ha dado esta tierra.

13 “Remember the word which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, saying, ‘Yahweh your God gives you rest, and will give you this land.

14 Αἱ γυναῖκες ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ παιδία ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ κτήνη ὑμῶν κατοικείτωσαν ἐν τῇ γῇ, ᾗ ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν· ὑμεῖς δὲ διαβήσεσθε εὔζωνοι πρότεροι τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν πᾶς ὁ ἰσχύων· καὶ συμμαχήσετε αὐτοῖς,

14 Vuestras mujeres y vuestros niños y vuestras bestias, quedarán en la tierra que Moisés os ha dado de esta parte del Jordán; mas vosotros, todos los valientes y fuertes, pasaréis armados delante de vuestros hermanos, y les ayudaréis;

14 Your wives, your little ones, and your livestock shall live in the land which Moses gave you beyond the Jordan; but you shall pass over before your brothers armed, all the mighty men of valor, and shall help them

15 ἕως ἂν καταπαύσῃ Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν, ὥσπερ καὶ ὑμᾶς, καὶ κληρονομήσωσι καὶ οὗτοι τὴν γῆν, ἣν Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν δίδωσιν αὐτοῖς· καὶ ἀπελεύσεσθε ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ, ἣν ἔδωκεν ὑμῖν Μωυσῆς εἰς τὸ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ἐπʼ ἀνατολῶν ἡλίου.

15 Hasta tanto que Jehová haya dado reposo á vuestros hermanos como á vosotros, y que ellos también posean la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios les da: y después volveréis vosotros á la tierra de vuestra herencia, la cual Moisés siervo de Jehová os ha dado, de esta parte del Jordán hacia donde nace el sol; y la poseeréis.

15 until Yahweh has given your brothers rest, as he has given you, and they have also possessed the land which Yahweh your God gives them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and possess it, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave you beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise.’”

16 Καὶ ἀποκριθέντες τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἶπαν, πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐντείλῃ ἡμῖν, ποιήσομεν, καὶ εἰς πάντα τόπον οὗ ἐὰν ἀποστείλῃς ἡμᾶς, πορευσόμεθα.

16 Entonces respondieron á Josué, diciendo: Nosotros haremos todas las cosas que nos has mandado, é iremos adonde quiera que nos mandares.

16 They answered Joshua, saying, “All that you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.

17 Κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἠκούσαμεν Μωυσῆ, ἀκουσόμεθά σοῦ· πλὴν ἔστω Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν μετὰ σοῦ, ὃν τρόπον ἦν μετὰ Μωυσῆ.

17 De la manera que obedecimos á Moisés en todas las cosas, así te obedeceremos á ti: solamente Jehová tu Dios sea contigo, como fué con Moisés.

17 Just as we listened to Moses in all things, so will we listen to you. Only may Yahweh your God be with you, as he was with Moses.

18 Ὁ δὲ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν ἀπειθήσῃ σοι, καὶ ὅστις μὴ ἀκούσῃ τῶν ῥημάτων σου καθότι ἐὰν ἐντείλῃ αὐτῷ, ἀποθανέτω· ἀλλὰ ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου.

18 Cualquiera que fuere rebelde á tu mandamiento, y no obedeciere á tus palabras en todas las cosas que le mandares, que muera; solamente que te esfuerces, y seas valiente.

18 Whoever rebels against your commandment, and doesn’t listen to your words in all that you command him shall himself be put to death. Only be strong and courageous.”
