1 Potom dođe mi reč Gospodnja govoreći:
1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
1 Then Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
2 Nemoj se ženiti, i da nemaš sinove ni kćeri na tom mestu.
2 No tomarás para ti mujer, ni tendrás hijos ni hijas en este lugar.
2 “You shall not take a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters, in this place.”
3 Jer ovako govori Gospod za sinove i kćeri što se rode na tom mestu i za matere njihove koje ih rode, i za oce njihove koji ih rode u toj zemlji:
3 Porque así ha dicho Jehová acerca de los hijos y de las hijas que nacieren en este lugar, y de sus madres que los parieren, y de los padres que los engendraren en esta tierra.
3 For Yahweh says concerning the sons and concerning the daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who became their father in this land:
4 Ljutom će smrću pomreti, neće biti oplakani niti će se pogrepsti, biće gnoj po zemlji, i od mača i od gladi izginuće, i mrtva će telesa njihova biti hrana pticama nebeskim i zverima zemaljskim.
4 De dolorosas enfermedades morirán; no serán plañidos ni enterrados: serán por muladar sobre la haz de la tierra: y con cuchillo y con hambre serán consumidos, y sus cuerpos serán para comida de las aves del cielo y de las bestias de la tierra.
4 “They will die grievous deaths. They will not be lamented, neither will they be buried. They will be as dung on the surface of the ground. They will be consumed by the sword and by famine. Their dead bodies will be food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.”
5 Jer ovako govori Gospod: Ne ulazi u kuću u kojoj je žalost, i ne idi da plačeš niti ih žali; jer sam uzeo mir svoj od tog naroda, govori Gospod, milost i žaljenje.
5 Porque así ha dicho Jehová: No entres en casa de luto, ni vayas á lamentar, ni los consueles: porque yo he quitado mi paz de este pueblo, dice Jehová, [mi] misericordia y piedades.
5 For Yahweh says, “Don’t enter into the house of mourning. Don’t go to lament. Don’t bemoan them, for I have taken away my peace from this people,” says Yahweh, “even loving kindness and tender mercies.
6 Pomreće mali i veliki u ovoj zemlji, neće biti pogrebeni niti će se oplakati, niti će se ko rezati ni glave strići za njima.
6 Y morirán en esta tierra grandes y chicos: no se enterrarán, ni los plañirán, ni se arañarán, ni se mesarán por ellos;
6 Both great and small will die in this land. They will not be buried. Men won’t lament for them, cut themselves, or make themselves bald for them.
7 Neće im se dati hleba u žalosti da se poteše za mrtvim, niti će ih napojiti iz čaše radi utehe za ocem ili za materom.
7 Ni por ellos partirán [pan] por luto, para consolarlos de [sus] muertos; ni les darán á beber vaso de consolaciones por su padre ó por su madre.
7 Men won’t break bread for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead. Men won’t give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
8 Tako ne ulazi u kuću u kojoj je žalost da sediš s njima da jedeš i piješ.
8 Asimismo no entres en casa de convite, para sentarte con ellos á comer ó á beber.
8 “You shall not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink.”
9 Jer ovako veli Gospod nad vojskama, Bog Izrailjev: Evo, ja ću učiniti da na ovom mestu pred vašim očima i za vaših dana ne bude glasa radosnog ni glasa veselog, glasa ženikovog ni glasa nevestinog.
9 Porque así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel; He aquí que yo haré cesar en este lugar, delante de vuestros ojos y en vuestros días, toda voz de gozo y toda voz de alegría, toda voz de esposo y toda voz de esposa.
9 For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.
10 A kad kažeš tom narodu sve ove reči, ako ti kažu: Zašto izreče Gospod sve to veliko zlo na nas? I kakvo je bezakonje naše ili kakav je greh naš, kojim zgrešismo Gospodu Bogu svom?
10 Y acontecerá que cuando anunciares á este pueblo todas estas cosas, te dirán ellos: ¿Por qué habló Jehová sobre nosotros todo este mal tan grande? ¿y qué maldad es la nuestra, ó qué pecado [es] el nuestro, que cometiéramos contra Jehová nuestro Dios?
10 It will happen, when you tell this people all these words, and they ask you, ‘Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us?’ or ‘What is our iniquity?’ or ‘What is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God?’
11 Tada im reci: Jer oci vaši ostaviše mene, govori Gospod, i idoše za drugim bogovima i služiše im i klanjaše im se, a mene ostaviše i zakon moj ne držaše;
11 Entonces les dirás: Porque vuestros padres me dejaron, dice Jehová, y anduvieron en pos de dioses ajenos, y los sirvieron, y á ellos se encorvaron, y me dejaron á mí, y no guardaron mi ley;
11 then you shall tell them, ‘Because your fathers have forsaken me,’ says Yahweh, ‘and have walked after other gods, have served them, have worshiped them, have forsaken me, and have not kept my law.
12 a vi još gore činite nego oci vaši, jer eto idete svaki po misli srca svog zlog ne slušajući mene.
12 Y vosotros habéis hecho peor que vuestros padres; porque he aquí que vosotros camináis cada uno tras la imaginación de su malvado corazón, no oyéndome á mí.
12 You have done evil more than your fathers, for behold, you each walk after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you don’t listen to me.
13 Zato ću vas izbaciti iz ove zemlje u zemlju koje ne poznaste ni vi ni oci vaši, i onde ćete služiti drugim bogovima dan i noć dokle vam ne učinim milost.
13 Por tanto, yo os haré echar de esta tierra á tierra que ni vosotros ni vuestros padres habéis conocido, y allá serviréis á dioses ajenos de día y de noche; porque no os mostraré clemencia.
13 Therefore I will cast you out of this land into the land that you have not known, neither you nor your fathers. There you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.’
14 Zato, evo, idu dani, govori Gospod, kad se neće više govoriti: Tako da je živ Gospod koji je izveo sinove Izrailjeve iz zemlje misirske;
14 Empero he aquí, vienen días, dice Jehová, que no se dirá más: Vive Jehová, que hizo subir á los hijos de Israel de tierra de Egipto;
14 “Therefore behold, the days come,” says Yahweh, “that it will no more be said, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;’
15 nego: Tako da je živ Gospod koji je izveo sinove Izrailjeve iz zemlje severne i iz svih zemalja u koje ih beše razagnao! Jer ću ih opet dovesti u zemlju njihovu koju sam dao ocima njihovim.
15 Sino: Vive Jehová, que hizo subir á los hijos de Israel de la tierra del aquilón, y de todas las tierras á donde los había arrojado: y volverélos á su tierra, la cual dí á sus padres.
15 but, ‘As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries where he had driven them.’ I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.
16 Gle, ja ću poslati mnoge ribare, govori Gospod, da ih love, i posle ću poslati mnoge lovce da ih love po svakoj gori i po svakom humu i po raselinama kamenim.
16 He aquí que yo envío muchos pescadores, dice Jehová, y los pescarán; y después enviaré muchos cazadores, y los cazarán de todo monte, y de todo collado, y de las cavernas de los peñascos.
16 “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says Yahweh, “and they will fish them up. Afterward I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain, from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
17 Jer oči moje paze na sve puteve njihove, nisu sakriveni od mene, niti je bezakonje njihovo zaklonjeno od mojih očiju.
17 Porque mis ojos están sobre todos sus caminos, los cuales no se me ocultaron, ni su maldad se esconde de la presencia de mis ojos.
17 For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from my face. Their iniquity isn’t concealed from my eyes.
18 I platiću im prvo dvojinom za bezakonje njihovo i za greh njihov, što oskvrniše zemlju moju strvima gadova svojih, i nasledstvo moje napuniše gnusobama svojim.
18 Mas primero pagaré al doble su iniquidad y su pecado; porque contaminaron mi tierra con los cuerpos muertos de sus abominaciones, y de sus abominaciones llenaron mi heredad.
18 First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.”
19 Gospode, kreposti moja i grade moj i utočište moje u nevolji, k Tebi će doći narodi od krajeva zemaljskih, i reći će: Doista oci naši imaše laž, i taštinu i što ni malo ne pomaže.
19 Oh Jehová, fortaleza mía, y fuerza mía, y refugio mío en el tiempo de la aflicción; á ti vendrán gentes desde los extremos de la tierra, y dirán: Ciertamente mentira poseyeron nuestros padres, vanidad, y no hay en ellos provecho.
19 Yahweh, my strength, my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say, “Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.
20 Eda li će čovek načiniti sebi bogove, koji ipak nisu bogovi?
20 ¿Ha de hacer el hombre dioses para sí? mas ellos no son dioses.
20 Should a man make to himself gods which yet are no gods?”
21 Zato, evo, ja ću ih naučiti sada, pokazaću im ruku svoju i silu svoju, da poznadu da mi je ime Gospod.
21 Por tanto, he aquí, les enseñaré de esta vez, enseñarles he mi mano y mi fortaleza, y sabrán que mi nombre es Jehová.
21 “Therefore behold, I will cause them to know, this once I will cause them to know my hand and my might. Then they will know that my name is Yahweh.”

«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
