9 Eda li će on zahvaliti sluzi tom kad svrši šta mu se zapovedi? Ne verujem. 10 Tako i vi kad svršite sve što vam je zapoveđeno, govorite: Mi smo zaludne sluge, jer učinismo šta smo bili dužni činiti. 11 I kad iđaše u Jerusalim, On prolažaše između Samarije i Galileje. I to beše Samarjanin. 19 I reče mu: Ustani, idi; vera tvoja pomože ti. 20 A kad Ga upitaše fariseji: Kad će doći carstvo Božije? 37 I odgovarajući rekoše Mu: Gde, Gospode? A On im reče: Gde je strvina onamo će se i orlovi skupiti.

The Holy Gospel which we heard just now as it was being read, has admonished touching the remission of sins. And on this subject must ye be admonished now by my discourse.

In that day, he which shall be upon the house-top, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away; and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife." Is it when our Lord shall have been revealed that men are to give heed to these sayings, and …

For in the same way, we too, when we have servants, do then most approve them when, after having performed all their service with good will, they do not think they have done anything great.

But if thou thinkest that thou really art faithful, but hast not yet the fulness of faith, thou too hast need to say like the Apostles, Lord, increase our faith: for some part thou hast of thyself, but the greater part thou receivest from Him.
