FBV Free Bible Version (Versión Biblia Libre en inglés) WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 Jesus said to his disciples, “Temptations are unavoidable, but it will be a disaster for those through whom they come! 1 Y Á SUS discípulos dice: Imposible es que no vengan escándalos; mas ¡ay de aquél por quien vienen!
1 He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
2 For such people it would be better to have a millstone hung around the neck and be thrown into the sea than to cause these little ones to sin.
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 So take care what you do. If your brother sins, warn him; and if he repents, forgive him.
3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times a day, and seven times comes back and tells you, ‘I'm really sorry,’ forgive him.” 4 Y si siete veces al día pecare contra ti, y siete veces al día se volviere á ti, diciendo, pésame, perdónale.
4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Help us to have more trust!” 5 Y dijeron los apóstoles al Señor: Auméntanos la fe.
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
6 The Lord replied, “Even if your trust was as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Uproot yourself, and plant yourself in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 6 Entonces el Señor dijo: Si tuvieseis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis á este sicómoro: Desarráigate, y plántate en el mar; y os obedecerá.
6 The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
7 Say you have a servant who does plowing or shepherding. When he comes in from work, do you say to him, ‘Come in and sit down now for a meal’? 7 ¿Y quién de vosotros tiene un siervo que ara ó apacienta, que vuelto del campo le diga luego: Pasa, siéntate á la mesa?
7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table’?
8 No. You say to him, ‘Prepare a meal for me, get yourself dressed, and serve me until I've finished my meal. After that you can have your meal.’ 8 ¿No le dice antes: Adereza qué cene, y arremángate, y sírveme hasta que haya comido y bebido; y después de esto, come tú y bebe?
8 Wouldn’t he rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
9 And do you thank the servant for doing what you told him?
9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
10 Likewise once you've done everything you were told, you should simply say, ‘We are undeserving servants. We just did our duty.’” 10 Así también vosotros, cuando hubiereis hecho todo lo que os es mandado, decid: Siervos inútiles somos, porque lo que debíamos hacer, hicimos.
10 Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’”
11 As Jesus continued on his way to Jerusalem, he passed along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
11 As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
12 As he entered a particular village, ten lepers met him, standing at a distance.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
13 They called out, “Jesus, Master, please have mercy on us.” 13 Y alzaron la voz, diciendo: Jesús, Maestro, ten misericordia de nosotros.
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 When Jesus saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” On their way there, they were healed.
14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them when he saw that he was healed, returned to Jesus, shouting praises to God. 15 Entonces uno de ellos, como se vió que estaba limpio, volvió, glorificando á Dios á gran voz;
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 He fell down at Jesus' feet, thanking him. He was a Samaritan.
16 He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17 “Weren't ten lepers healed?” Jesus asked. “Where are the other nine? 17 Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¿No son diez los que fueron limpios? ¿Y los nueve dónde están?
17 Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Didn't anyone else come back to praise God—only this foreigner?” 18 ¿No hubo quien volviese y diese gloria á Dios sino este extranjero?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
19 Jesus told the man, “Get up and go on your way. Your trust has healed you.” 19 Y díjole: Levántate, vete; tu fe te ha salvado.
19 Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
20 Once, when the Pharisees came and asked him when God's kingdom would come, Jesus replied, “God's kingdom doesn't come with visible signs that you can observe. 20 Y preguntado por los Fariseos, cuándo había de venir el reino de Dios, les respondió y dijo: El reino de Dios no vendrá con advertencia;
20 Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation;
21 People won't be saying, ‘Look, it's here’ or ‘Look, it's there,’ for God's kingdom is among you.” 21 Ni dirán: Helo aquí, ó helo allí: porque he aquí el reino de Dios entre vosotros está.
21 neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”
22 Then Jesus told the disciples, “The time is coming when you'll long to see the day when the Son of man comes, but you won't see it. 22 Y dijo á sus discípulos: Tiempo vendrá, cuando desearéis ver uno de los días del Hijo del hombre, y no lo veréis.
22 He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
23 They'll be telling you, ‘Look, there he is,’ or ‘Look, here he is,’ but don't go running off after them. 23 Y os dirán: Helo aquí, ó helo allí. No vayáis, ni sigáis.
23 They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away or follow after them,
24 The day when the Son of man comes will be just like lightning that flashes, lighting up the sky from one side to the other.
24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of one part under the sky, shines to another part under the sky, so will the Son of Man be in his day.
25 But first he will have to suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.
25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 The time when the Son of man comes will be like it was in Noah's day.
26 As it was in the days of Noah, even so it will also be in the days of the Son of Man.
27 People went on eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah went into the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
27 They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 It will be like it was in Lot's day. People went on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 28 Asimismo también como fué en los días de Lot; comían, bebían, compraban, vendían, plantaban, edificaban;
28 Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky and destroyed them all.
30 The day when the Son of man appears will be just like that.
30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
31 If you're up on the roof that day don't go down and get your things; and if you're out in the fields don't go back home either.
31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
32 Acordaos de la mujer de Lot.
32 Remember Lot’s wife!
33 If you try to hold on to your life you'll lose it; but if you lose your life you'll save it. 33 Cualquiera que procurare salvar su vida, la perderá; y cualquiera que la perdiere, la salvará.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
34 I tell you, at that time two will be in bed at night; one will be taken and the other left.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Two women will be grinding grain, one will be taken; and the other left.” 35 Dos mujeres estarán moliendo juntas: la una será tomada, y la otra dejada.
35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other will be left.”

37 “Where, Lord?” they asked. “Where the carcass is, that's where the vultures gather,” Jesus replied.
37 They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”
