1 Καὶ ἐπιστραφέντες ἀπῄραμεν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον, ὁδὸν θάλασσαν ἐρυθράν, ὃν τρόπον ἐλάλησε Κύριος πρὸς μὲ, καὶ ἐκυκλώσαμεν τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σηεὶρ ἡμέρας πολλάς.
1 Y VOLVIMOS, y partímonos al desierto camino del mar Bermejo, como Jehová me había dicho; y rodeamos el monte de Seir por muchos días.
1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as Yahweh spoke to me; and we encircled Mount Seir many days.
3 ἱκανούσθω ὑμῖν κυκλούν τὸ ὄρος τοῦτο· ἐπιστράφητε οὖν ἐπὶ Βοῤῥᾶν·
3 Harto habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al aquilón.
3 “You have encircled this mountain long enough. Turn northward.
4 Καὶ τῷ λαῷ ἔντειλαι, λέγων, ὑμεῖς παραπορεύεσθε διὰ τῶν ὁρίων τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν υἱῶν Ἡσαύ, οἳ κατοικοῦσιν ἐν Σηεὶρ, καὶ φοβηθήσονται ὑμᾶς, καὶ εὐλαβηθήσονται ὑμᾶς σφόδρα.
4 Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el término de vuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho:
4 Command the people, saying, ‘You are to pass through the border of your brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore be careful.
5 Μὴ συνάψητε πρὸς αὐτοὺς πόλεμον, οὐ γὰρ δῶ ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν οὐδὲ βῆμα ποδός, ὅτι ἐν κλήρῳ δέδωκα τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἡσαὺ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σηείρ.
5 No os metáis con ellos; que no os daré de su tierra ni aun la holladura de la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad á Esaú el monte de Seir.
5 Don’t contend with them; for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.
6 Ἀργυρίου βρώματα ἀγοράσατε παρʼ αὐτῶν καὶ φάγεσθε, καὶ ὕδωρ μέτρῳ λήψεσθε παρʼ αὐτῶν ἀργυρίου καὶ πίεσθε.
6 Compraréis de ellos por dinero las viandas, y comeréis; y también compraréis de ellos el agua, y beberéis:
6 You shall purchase food from them for money, that you may eat. You shall also buy water from them for money, that you may drink.’”
7 Ὁ γὰρ Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν εὐλόγησέ σε ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ τῶν χειρῶν σου· διάγνωθι πῶς διῆλθες τὴν ἔρημον τὴν μεγάλην καὶ τὴν φοβερὰν ἐκείνην· ἰδοὺ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου μετὰ σοῦ· οὐκ ἐπεδεήθης ῥήματος.
7 Pues Jehová tu Dios te ha bendecido en toda obra de tus manos: él sabe que andas por este gran desierto: estos cuarenta años Jehová tu Dios fué contigo; y ninguna cosa te ha faltado.
7 For Yahweh your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has known your walking through this great wilderness. These forty years, Yahweh your God has been with you. You have lacked nothing.
8 Καὶ παρήλθομεν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμῶν υἱοὺς Ἡσαῦ, τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Σηεὶρ, παρὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν Ἄραβα ἀπὸ Αἰλὼν καὶ ἀπὸ Γεσιὼν Γάβερ· καὶ ἐπιστρέψαντες παρήλθομεν ὁδὸν ἔρημον Μωάβ.
8 Y pasamos de nuestros hermanos los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, por el camino de la llanura de Elath y de Esiongeber. Y volvimos, y pasamos camino del desierto de Moab.
8 So we passed by from our brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion Geber. We turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
9 Καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς μέ, μὴ ἐχθραίνετε τοῖς Μωαβιταῖς, καὶ μὴ συνάψητε πρὸς αὐτοὺς πόλεμον· οὐ γὰρ μὴ δῶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ὑμῖν ἐν κλήρῳ, τοῖς γὰρ υἱοῖς Λὼτ δέδωκα τὴν Ἀροὴρ κληρονομεῖν.
9 Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes á Moab, ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, que no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado á Ar por heredad á los hijos de Lot.
9 Yahweh said to me, “Don’t bother Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give you any of his land for a possession, because I have given Ar to the children of Lot for a possession.”
10 Οἱ Ὀμμὶν πρότεροι ἐνεκάθηντο ἐπʼ αὐτῆς, ἔθνος μέγα καὶ πολὺ καὶ ἰσχύοντες, ὥσπερ οἱ Ἐνακίμ.
10 (Los Emimeos habitaron en ella antes, pueblo grande, y numeroso, y alto como gigantes:
10 (The Emim lived there before, a great and numerous people, and tall as the Anakim.
11 Ῥαφαῒν λογισθήσονται καὶ οὗτοι ὥσπερ καὶ οἱ Ἐνακίμ· καὶ οἱ Μωαβῖται ἐπονομάζουσιν αὐτοὺς Ὀμμείν.
11 Por gigantes eran ellos también contados, como los Anaceos; y los Moabitas los llaman Emimeos.
11 These also are considered to be Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.
12 Καὶ ἐν Σηεὶρ ἐνεκάθητο ὁ Χοῤῥαῖος τὸ πρότερον, καὶ υἱοὶ Ἡσαὺ ἀπώλεσαν αὐτοὺς, καὶ ἐξέτριψαν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν. καὶ κατῳκίσθησαν ἀντʼ αὐτῶν, ὃν τρόπον ἐποίησεν Ἰσραὴλ τὴν γῆν τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ, ἣν δέδωκε Κύριος αὐτοῖς.
12 Y en Seir habitaron antes los Horeos, á los cuales echaron los hijos de Esaú; y los destruyeron de delante de sí, y moraron en lugar de ellos; como hizo Israel en la tierra de su posesión que les dió Jehová.)
12 The Horites also lived in Seir in the past, but the children of Esau succeeded them. They destroyed them from before them, and lived in their place, as Israel did to the land of his possession, which Yahweh gave to them.)
13 Νῦν οὖν ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀπάρατε ὑμεῖς, καὶ παραπορεύεσθε τὴν φάραγγα Ζάρετ.
13 Levantaos ahora, y pasad el arroyo de Zered. Y pasamos el arroyo de Zered.
13 “Now rise up and cross over the brook Zered.” We went over the brook Zered.
14 Καὶ αἱ ἡμέραι ἃς παρεπορεύθημεν ἀπὸ Κάδης Βαρνὴ ἕως οὗ παρήλθομεν τὴν φάραγγα Ζαρὲτ, τριάκοντα καὶ ὀκτὼ ἔτη, ἕως οὗ διέπεσε πᾶσα γενεὰ ἀνδρῶν πολεμιστῶν ἀποθνήσκοντες ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς, καθότι ὤμοσεν Κύριος ὁ
14 Y los días que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta que pasamos el arroyo de Zered, fueron treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campo, como Jehová les había jurado.
14 The days in which we came from Kadesh Barnea until we had come over the brook Zered were thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the middle of the camp, as Yahweh swore to them.
15 Θεός αὐτοὺς. Καὶ ἡ χεὶρ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἦν ἐπʼ αὐτοῖς ἐξαναλῶσαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ μέσου τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἕως οὗ διέπεσαν.
15 Y también la mano de Jehová fué sobre ellos para destruirlos de en medio del campo, hasta acabarlos.
15 Moreover Yahweh’s hand was against them, to destroy them from the middle of the camp, until they were consumed.
16 Καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐπειδὰν ἔπεσαν πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταὶ ἀποθνήσκοντες ἐκ μέσου τοῦ λαοῦ, καὶ ἐλάλησε
16 Y aconteció que cuando se hubieron acabado de morir todos los hombres de guerra de entre el pueblo,
16 So, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
17 Κύριος πρὸς μὲ, λέγων, σὺ παραπορεύσῃ σήμερον τὰ ὅρια
17 Jehová me habló, diciendo:
17 Yahweh spoke to me, saying,
18 Μωὰβ τὴν Ἀροὴρ,
18 Tú pasarás hoy el término de Moab, á Ar,
18 “You are to pass over Ar, the border of Moab, today.
19 καὶ προσάξετε ἐγγὺς υἱῶν Ἀμμάν· μὴ ἐχθραίνετε αὐτοῖς, μηδὲ συνάψετε αὐτοῖς εἰς πόλεμον· οὐ γὰρ μὴ δῶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς υἱῶν Ἀμμάν σοι ἐν κλήρῳ, ὅτι τοῖς υἱοῖς Λὼτ δέδωκα αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρῳ.
19 Y te acercarás delante de los hijos de Ammón: no los molestes, ni te metas con ellos; porque no te tengo de dar posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Ammón; que á los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad.
19 When you come near the border of the children of Ammon, don’t bother them, nor contend with them; for I will not give you any of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession, because I have given it to the children of Lot for a possession.”
20 Γὴ Ῥαφαῒν λογισθήσεται, καὶ γὰρ ἐπʼ αὐτῆς κατῴκουν οἱ Ῥαφαῒν τοπρότερον καὶ οἱ Ἀμμανῖται ἐπονομάζουσιν αὐτοὺς Ζοχομμίν.
20 (Por tierra de gigantes fué también ella tenida: habitaron en ella gigantes en otro tiempo, á los cuales los Ammonitas llamaban Zomzommeos;
20 (That also is considered a land of Rephaim. Rephaim lived there in the past, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,
21 Ἔθνος μέγα καὶ πολὺ καὶ δυνατώτερον ὑμῶν, ὥσπερ καὶ οἱ Ἐνακείμ· καὶ ἀπώλεσεν αὐτοὺς Κύριος πρὸ πρόσωπου αὐτῶν, καὶ κατεκληρονόμησαν καὶ κατῳκίσθησαν, ἀντʼ αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
21 Pueblo grande, y numeroso, y alto, como los Anaceos; á los cuales Jehová destruyó de delante de los Ammonitas, quienes les sucedieron, y habitaron en su lugar:
21 a great people, many, and tall, as the Anakim; but Yahweh destroyed them from before Israel, and they succeeded them, and lived in their place,
22 Ὥσπερ ἐποίησαν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἡσαὺ τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν ἐν Σηείρ, ὃν τρόπον ἐξέτριψαν τὸν Χοῤῥαῖον ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν, καὶ κατεκληρονόμησαν αὐτοὺς, καὶ κατῳκίσθησαν ἀντʼ αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
22 Como hizo con los hijos de Esaú, que habitaban en Seir, de delante de los cuales destruyó á los Horeos; y ellos les sucedieron, y habitaron en su lugar hasta hoy.
22 as he did for the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and lived in their place even to this day.
23 Καὶ οἱ Εὐαῖοι οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Ἀσηδὼθ ἕως Γάζης, καὶ οἱ Καππάδοκες οἱ ἐξελθόντες ἐκ Καππαδοκίας, ἐξέτριψαν αὐτοὺς, καὶ κατῳκίσθησαν ἀντʼ αὐτῶν.
23 Y á los Heveos que habitaban en Haserin hasta Gaza, los Caftoreos que salieron de Caftor los destruyeron, y habitaron en su lugar.)
23 Then the Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza: the Caphtorim, who came out of Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.)
24 Νῦν οὖν ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀπάρατε, καὶ παρέλθετε ὑμεῖς τὴν φάραγγα Ἀρνών· ἰδοὺ παραδέδωκα εἰς χεῖράς σου τὸν Σηὼν βασιλέα Ἐσεβὼν τὸν Ἀμοῤῥαῖον καὶ τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ· ἐνάρχου κληρονομεῖν· σύναπτε πρὸς αὐτὸν πόλεμον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ.
24 Levantaos, partid, y pasad el arroyo de Arnón: he aquí he dado en tu mano á Sehón rey de Hesbón, Amorrheo, y á su tierra: comienza á tomar posesión, y empéñate con él en guerra.
24 “Rise up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon. Behold, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
25 Ἐνάρχου δοῦναι τὸν τρόμον σου καὶ τὸν φόβον σου ἐπὶ προσώπου πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, οἵτινες ἀκούσαντες τὸ ὄνομά σου ταραχθήσονται, καὶ ὠδῖνας ἕξουσιν ἀπὸ προσώπου σου.
25 Hoy comenzaré á poner tu miedo y tu espanto sobre los pueblos debajo de todo el cielo; los cuales oirán tu fama, y temblarán, y angustiarse han delante de ti.
25 Today I will begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.”
26 Καὶ ἀπέστειλα πρέσβεις ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Κεδαμὼθ πρὸς Σηὼν βασιλέα Ἐσεβὼν λόγοις εἰρηνικοῖς, λέγων,
26 Y envié mensajeros desde el desierto de Cademoth á Sehón rey de Hesbón, con palabras de paz, diciendo:
26 I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
27 παρελεύσομαι διὰ τῆς γῆς σου· ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ παρεύσομαι, οὐκ ἐκκλινῶ δεξιὰ οὐδʼ ἀριστερά.
27 Pasaré por tu tierra por el camino: por el camino iré, sin apartarme á diestra ni á siniestra:
27 “Let me pass through your land. I will go along by the highway. I will turn neither to the right hand nor to the left.
28 Βρώματα ἀργυρίου ἀποδώσῃ μοι, καὶ φάγομαι· καὶ ὕδωρ ἀργυρίου ἀποδώσῃ μοι, καὶ πίομαι· πλὴν ὅτι παρελεύσομαι τοῖς ποσί·
28 La comida me venderás por dinero, y comeré: el agua también me darás por dinero, y beberé: solamente pasaré á pie;
28 You shall sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink. Just let me pass through on my feet,
29 Καθὼς ἐποίησάν μοι οἱ υἱοὶ Ἠσαῦ οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Σηεὶρ, καὶ οἱ Μωαβῖται οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Ἀροήρ· ἕως παρέλθω τὸν Ἰορδάνην εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἣν Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν δίδωσιν ἡμῖν.
29 Como lo hicieron conmigo los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, y los Moabitas que habitaban en Ar; hasta que pase el Jordán á la tierra que nos da Jehová nuestro Dios.
29 as the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in Ar, did to me, until I pass over the Jordan into the land which Yahweh our God gives us.”
30 Καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν Σηὼν βασιλεὺς Ἐσεβὼν παρελθεῖν ἡμᾶς διʼ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐσκλήρυνε Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατίσχυσε τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ, ἵνα παραδοθῇ εἰς τὰς χεῖράς σου ὡς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ.
30 Mas Sehón rey de Hesbón no quiso que pasásemos por el [territorio suyo]; porque Jehová tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y obstinado su corazón para entregarlo en tu mano, como hoy.
30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him, for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.
31 Καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς μέ ἰδοὺ ἦργμαι παραδοῦναι πρὸ προσώπου σου τὸν Σηὼν βασιλέα Ἐσεβὼν τὸν Ἀμοῤῥαῖον, καὶ τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔναρξαι κληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ.
31 Y díjome Jehová: He aquí yo he comenzado á dar delante de ti á Sehón y á su tierra; comienza á tomar posesión, para que heredes su tierra.
31 Yahweh said to me, “Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before you. Begin to possess, that you may inherit his land.”
32 Καὶ ἐξῆλθε Σηὼν βασιλεὺς Ἐσεβὼν εἰς συνάντησιν ἡμῖν, αὐτὸς καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς αὐτοῦ, εἰς πόλεμον εἰς Ἰασσά.
32 Y saliónos Sehón al encuentro, él y todo su pueblo, para pelear en Jaas.
32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Jahaz.
33 Καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτὸν Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν πρὸ προσώπου ἡμῶν· καὶ ἐπατάξαμεν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ.
33 Mas Jehová nuestro Dios lo entregó delante de nosotros; y herimos á él y á sus hijos, y á todo su pueblo.
33 Yahweh our God delivered him up before us; and we struck him, his sons, and all his people.
34 Καὶ ἐκρατήσαμεν πασῶν τῶν πόλεων αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ, καὶ ἐξωλοθρεύσαμεν πᾶσαν πόλιν ἑξῆς, καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν· οὐ κατελίπομεν ζωγρίαν.
34 Y tomamos entonces todas sus ciudades, y destruimos todas las ciudades, hombres, y mujeres, y niños; no dejamos ninguno:
34 We took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones. We left no one remaining.
35 Πλὴν τὰ κτήνη ἐπρονομεύσαμεν, καὶ τὰ σκῦλα τῶν πόλεων ἐλάβομεν
35 Solamente tomamos para nosotros las bestias, y los despojos de las ciudades que habíamos tomado.
35 Only the livestock we took for plunder for ourselves, with the plunder of the cities which we had taken.
36 ἐξ Ἀροὴρ, ἥ ἐστι παρὰ τὸ χεῖλος χειμάῤῥου Ἀρνών, καὶ τὴν πόλιν τὴν οὖσαν ἐν τῇ φάραγγι, καὶ ἕως ὄρους τοῦ Γαλαάδ· οὐκ ἐγενήθη πόλις ἥτις διέφυγεν ἡμᾶς. τὰς πάσας παρέδωκε Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν εἰς τὰς χεῖρας ἡμῶν.
36 Desde Aroer, que está junto á la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y la ciudad que está en el arroyo, hasta Galaad, no hubo ciudad que escapase de nosotros: todas las entregó Jehová nuestro Dios en nuestro poder.
36 From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the city that is in the valley, even to Gilead, there was not a city too high for us. Yahweh our God delivered up all before us.
37 Πλὴν ἐγγὺς υἱῶν Ἀμμὰν οὐ προσήλθομεν πάντα τὰ συγκυροῦντα χειμάῤῥου Ἰαβὸκ, καὶ τὰς πόλεις τὰς ἐν τῇ ὀρεινῇ, καθότι ἐνετείλατο Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν ἡμῖν.
37 Solamente á la tierra de los hijos de Ammón no llegaste, ni á todo lo que está á la orilla del arroyo de Jaboc ni á las ciudades del monte, ni á [lugar] alguno que Jehová nuestro Dios había prohibido.
37 Only to the land of the children of Ammon you didn’t come near: all the banks of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill country, and wherever Yahweh our God forbade us.
