Tyndale Nuevo Testamento de Tyndale (1534)
RV1909 Reina-Valera 1909
1 We as helpers therfore exhorte you that ye receave not the grace of god in (vayne)
2 For he saith: I have hearde the in a tyme accepted: and in the daye of saluacion have I suckered the. Beholde now is that well accepted tyme: beholde now is that daye of saluacion.
2 (Porque dice: En tiempo aceptable te he oído, y en día de salud te he socorrido: he aquí ahora el tiempo aceptable; he aquí ahora el día de salud:)
3 Let vs geve no man occasion of evyll that in oure office be founde no faute:
4 but in all thynges let vs behave oure selves as the ministers of God. In moche pacience in affliccions in necessite in anguysshe
4 Antes habiéndonos en todas cosas como ministros de Dios, en mucha paciencia, en tribulaciones, en necesidades, en angustias;
5 in strypes in presonmet in stryfe in laboure in watchinge in fastyng
5 En azotes, en cárceles, en alborotos, en trabajos, en vigilias, en ayunos;
6 in purenes in knowledge in longe sufferynge in kyndnes in the holy goost in love vnfayned
6 En castidad, en ciencia, en longanimidad, en bondad, en Espíritu Santo, en amor no fingido;
7 in the wordes of trueth in the power of God by the armoure of rightewesnes on the right honde and on the lyfte
7 En palabra de verdad, en potencia de Dios, en armas de justicia á diestro y á siniestro;
8 in honoure and dishonoure in evyll reporte and good reporte as desceauers and yet true
8 Por honra y por deshonra, por infamia y por buena fama; como engañadores, mas hombres de verdad;
9 as unknowen and yet knowen: as dyinge and beholde we yet live: as chastened and not killed:
9 Como ignorados, mas conocidos; como muriendo, mas he aquí vivimos; como castigados, mas no muertos;
10 as sorowynge and yet alwaye mery: as poore and yet make many ryche: as havynge nothynge and yet possessynge all thynges.
11 O ye Corinthyans oure mouth is open vnto you. Oure herte is made large:
12 ye are in no strayte in vs but are in a strayte in youre awne bowelles:
12 No estáis estrechos en nosotros, mas estáis estrechos en vuestras propias entrañas.
13 I promyse you lyke rewarde with me as to my childre. Set youreselues therfore at large
14 and beare not a straugers yoke wyth the vnbelevers. For what fellishippe hath rightewesnes with vnrightewesnes? What company hath light with darcknes?
15 What concorde hath Christ with beliall? Ether what parte hath he that beleveth with an infidele?
16 how agreeth the temple of god with ymages? And ye are the temple of that lyuynge god as sayde god. I will dwell amonge the and walke amonge the and wilbe their god: and they shalbe my people.
17 Wherfore come out from amonge the and separate youreselues (sayth the lorde) and touche none vncleane thynge: so wyll I receave you
18 and wilbe a father vnto you and ye shalbe vnto me sonnes and doughters sayth the lorde almyghty.

    For since he said, God beseeches, and we are ambassadors and suppliants unto you, that ye be "reconciled unto God:" lest they should become supine, he hereby again alarms and arouses them, saying: "We intreat that ye receive not the grace of God in vain." For let us not,' he says, therefore be at ease, because He beseeches and hath …

    or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" And while the children of heathens, who know nothing of resurrection, do yet find words of consolation, saying, "Bear it manfully, for it is not possible to undo what hath taken place, nor to amend it by lamentations;" art not thou, who hearest sayings wiser and better than these, ashamed …
