1 Καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασε Δαυὶδ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας Ἰσραὴλ, ἄρχοντας τῶν κριτῶν, καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν περὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ ἄρχοντας τῶν χιλιάδων καὶ τῶν ἑκατοντάδων, καὶ τοὺς γαζοφύλακας, καὶ τοὺς ἐπὶ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάσης τῆς κτήσεως τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ, σὺν τοῖς εὐνούχοις, καὶ τοὺς δυνάστας, καὶ τοὺς μαχητὰς τῆς στρατιᾶς ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ.

1 Y JUNTÓ David en Jerusalem á todos los principales de Israel, los príncipes de las tribus, y los jefes de las divisiones que servían al rey, los tribunos y centuriones, con los superintendentes de toda la hacienda y posesión del rey, y sus hijos, con los eunucos, los poderosos, y todos sus hombres valientes.

1 David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, the captains of the companies who served the king by division, the captains of thousands, the captains of hundreds, and the rulers over all the substance and possessions of the king and of his sons, with the officers and the mighty men, even all the mighty men of valor, to Jerusalem.

2 Καὶ ἔστη Δαυὶδ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας, καὶ εἶπεν, ἀκούσατέ μου ἀδελφοί μου, καὶ λαός μου· ἐμοὶ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ καρδίαν οἰκοδομῆσαι οἶκον ἀναπαύσεως τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης Κυρίου, καὶ στάσιν ποδῶν Κυρίου ἡμῶν, καὶ ἡτοίμασα τὰ εἰς τὴν κατασκήνωσιν ἐπιτήδεια.

2 Y levantándose el rey David, [puesto] en pie dijo: Oidme, hermanos míos, y pueblo mío. Yo tenía en propósito edificar una casa, para que en ella reposara el arca del pacto de Jehová, y para el estrado de los pies de nuestro Dios; y había ya aprestado [todo] para edificar.

2 Then David the king stood up on his feet and said, “Hear me, my brothers and my people! As for me, it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, and for the footstool of our God; and I had prepared for the building.

3 Καὶ ὁ Θεὸς εἶπεν, οὐκ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐμοὶ οἶκον τοῦ ἐπονομάσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπʼ αὐτῷ, ὅτι ἄνθρωπος πολεμιστὴς εἶ σὺ, καὶ αἷμα ἐξέχεας.

3 Mas Dios me dijo: Tú no edificarás casa á mi nombre: porque eres hombre de guerra, y has derramado mucha sangre.

3 But God said to me, ‘You shall not build a house for my name, because you are a man of war and have shed blood.’

4 Καὶ ἐξελέξατο Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς οἴκου πατρός μου εἶναι βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ἰσραὴλ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ ἐν Ἰούδα ᾑρέτικε τὸ βασίλειον, καὶ ἐξ οἴκου Ἰούδα τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου· καὶ ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς τοῦ πατρός μου, ἐν ἐμοὶ ἠθέλησε τοῦ γενέσθαι με εἰς βασιλέα ἐπὶ παντὶ Ἰσραήλ.

4 Empero Jehová el Dios de Israel me eligió de toda la casa de mi padre, para que perpetuamente fuese rey sobre Israel: porque á Judá escogió por caudillo, y de la casa de Judá la familia de mi padre; y de entre los hijos de mi padre agradóse de mí para ponerme por rey sobre todo Israel;

4 However Yahweh, the God of Israel, chose me out of all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For he has chosen Judah to be prince; and in the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel.

5 Καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν μου, ὅτι πολλοὺς υἱοὺς ἔδωκέ μοι Κύριος, ἐξελέξατο ἐν Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ μου καθίσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ θρόνου βασιλείας Κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.

5 Y de todos mis hijos (porque Jehová me ha dado muchos hijos,) eligió á mi hijo Salomón para que se siente en el trono del reino de Jehová sobre Israel.

5 Of all my sons (for Yahweh has given me many sons), he has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of Yahweh’s kingdom over Israel.

6 Καὶ εἶπέ μοι ὁ Θεὸς, Σαλωμὼν ὁ υἱός σου οἰκοδομήσει τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ τὴν αὐλήν μου, ὅτι ᾑρέτικα ἐν αὐτῷ εἶναί μου υἱὸν, κᾀγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῷ εἰς πατέρα.

6 Y me ha dicho: Salomón tu hijo, él edificará mi casa y mis atrios: porque á éste me he escogido por hijo, y yo le seré á él por padre.

6 He said to me, ‘Solomon, your son, shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

7 Καὶ κατορθώσω τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος, ἐὰν ἰσχύσῃ τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰς ἐντολάς μου, καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου, ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη.

7 Asimismo yo confirmaré su reino para siempre, si él se esforzare á poner por obra mis mandamientos y mis juicios, como aqueste día.

7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he continues to do my commandments and my ordinances, as it is today.’

8 Καὶ νῦν κατὰ πρόσωπον πάσης ἐκκλησίας Κυρίου, καὶ ἐν ὠσὶ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν, φυλάξασθε καὶ ζητήσατε πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς Κυρίου τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν, ἵνα κληρονομήσητε τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν, καὶ κατακληρονομήσητε τοῖς υἱοῖς ὑμῶν μεθʼ ὑμᾶς ἕως αἰῶνος.

8 Ahora pues, delante de lo ojos de todo Israel, congregación de Jehová, y en oídos de nuestro Dios, guardad é inquirid todos los preceptos de Jehová vuestro Dios, para que poseáis la buena tierra, y la dejéis por heredad á vuestros hijos después de vosotros perpetuamente.

8 Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel, Yahweh’s assembly, and in the audience of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of Yahweh your God, that you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you forever.

9 Καὶ νῦν Σαλωμὼν υἱὲ, γνῶθι τὸν Θεὸν τῶν πατέρων σου, καὶ δούλευε αὐτῷ ἐν καρδίᾳ τελείᾳ· καὶ ψυχῇ θελούσῃ, ὅτι πάσας καρδίας ἐτάζει Κύριος, καὶ πᾶν ἐνθύμημα γινώσκει· ἐὰν ζητήσῃς αὐτὸν, εὑρεθήσεταί σοι, καὶ ἐὰν καταλείψῃς αὐτὸν, καταλείψει σε εἰς τέλος.

9 Y tú, Salomón, hijo mío, conoce al Dios de tu padre, y sírvele con corazón perfecto, y con ánimo voluntario; porque Jehová escudriña los corazones de todos, y entiende toda imaginación de los pensamientos. Si tú le buscares, lo hallarás; mas si lo dejares, él te desechará para siempre.

9 You, Solomon my son, know the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Yahweh searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

10 Ἴδε νῦν, ὅτι Κύριος ᾑρέτικέ σε οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον εἰς ἁγίασμα, ἴσχυε καὶ ποίει.

10 Mira, [pues], ahora que Jehová te ha elegido para que edifiques casa para santuario: esfuérzate, y haz[la].

10 Take heed now, for Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”

11 Καὶ ἔδωκε Δαυὶδ Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τῶν οἴκων αὐτοῦ, καὶ τῶν ζακχῶν αὐτοῦ, καὶ τῶν ὑπερῴων, καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἐσωτέρων, καὶ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ ἐξιλασμοῦ,

11 Y David dió á Salomón su hijo la traza del pórtico, y de sus casas, y de sus oficinas, y de sus salas, y de sus recámaras, y de la casa del propiciatorio.

11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the plans for the porch of the temple, for its houses, for its treasuries, for its upper rooms, for its inner rooms, for the place of the mercy seat;

12 καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα ὃ εἶχεν ἐν πνεύματι αὐτοῦ, τῶν αὐλῶν οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ πάντων τῶν παστοφορίων τῶν κύκλῳ τῶν εἰς τὰς ἀποθήκας οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἁγίων,

12 Asimismo la traza de todas las cosas que tenía en su voluntad, para los atrios de la casa de Jehová, y para todas las cámaras en derredor, para los tesoros de la casa de Dios, y para los tesoros de las cosas santificadas:

12 and the plans of all that he had by the Spirit, for the courts of Yahweh’s house, for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of God’s house, and for the treasuries of the dedicated things;

13 καὶ τῶν καταλυμάτων, καὶ τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν λειτουργησίμων σκευῶν τῆς λατρείας οἴκου Κυρίου.

13 También para los órdenes de los sacerdotes y de los Levitas, y para toda la obra del ministerio de la casa de Jehová, y para todos los vasos del ministerio de la casa de Jehová.

13 also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, for all the work of the service of Yahweh’s house, and for all the vessels of service in Yahweh’s house—

14 Καὶ τὸν σταθμὸν τῆς ὁλκῆς αὐτῶν τῶν τε χρυσῶν καὶ ἀργυρῶν λυχνιῶν τὴν ὁλκὴν ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ,

14 Y [dió] oro por peso para [lo de] oro, para todos los vasos de cada servicio: y plata por peso para todos los vasos, para todos los vasos de cada servicio.

14 of gold by weight for the gold for all vessels of every kind of service, for all the vessels of silver by weight, for all vessels of every kind of service;

15 καὶ τῶν λύχνων.

15 [Oro] por peso para los candeleros de oro, y para sus candilejas; por peso el oro para cada candelero y sus candilejas: y para los candeleros de plata, [plata] por peso para el candelero y sus candilejas, conforme al servicio de cada candelero.

15 by weight also for the lamp stands of gold, and for its lamps, of gold, by weight for every lamp stand and for its lamps; and for the lamp stands of silver, by weight for every lamp stand and for its lamps, according to the use of every lamp stand;

16 Ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ὁμοίως τὸν σταθμὸν τῶν τραπεζῶν τῆς προθέσεως, ἑκάστης τραπέζης χρυσῆς, καὶ ὡσαύτως τῶν ἀργυρῶν,

16 Asimismo [dió] oro por peso para las mesas de la proposición, para cada mesa: del mismo modo plata para las mesas de plata:

16 and the gold by weight for the tables of show bread, for every table; and silver for the tables of silver;

17 καὶ τῶν κρεαγρῶν καὶ σπονδείων καὶ τῶν φιαλῶν τῶν χρυσῶν· καὶ τὸν σταθμὸν τῶν χρυσῶν καὶ τῶν ἀργυρῶν, καὶ θυΐσκων κεφουρὲ, ἑκάστου σταθμοῦ.

17 También oro puro para los garfios y para las palanganas, y para los incensarios, y para los tazones de oro, para cada tazón por peso; y para los tazones de plata, por peso para cada tazón:

17 and the forks, the basins, and the cups, of pure gold; and for the golden bowls by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls by weight for every bowl;

18 Καὶ τῶν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῶν θυμιαμάτων ἐκ χρυσίου δοκίμου σταθμὸν ὑπέδειξεν αὐτῷ, καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ἅρματος τῶν χερουβὶμ τῶν διαπεπετασμένων ταῖς πτέρυξι, καὶ σκιαζόντων ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης Κυρίου·

18 Además, oro puro por peso para el altar del perfume, y para el á manera de carro de los querubines de oro, que con las alas extendidas cubrían el arca del pacto de Jehová.

18 and for the altar of incense, refined gold by weight; and gold for the plans for the chariot, and the cherubim that spread out and cover the ark of Yahweh’s covenant.

19 πάντα ἐν γραφῇ χειρὸς Κυρίου ἔδωκε Δαυὶδ Σαλωμὼν, κατὰ τὴν περιγενηθεῖσαν αὐτῷ σύνεσιν τῆς κατεργασίας τοῦ παραδείγματος.

19 Todas estas cosas, [dijo David], se me han representado por la mano de Jehová que me hizo entender todas las obras del diseño.

19 “All this”, David said, “I have been made to understand in writing from Yahweh’s hand, even all the works of this pattern.”

20 Καὶ εἶπε Δαυὶδ Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ, ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ποίει, μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς, ὅτι Κύριος ὁ Θεός μου μετὰ σοῦ, οὐκ ἀνήσει σε, καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃ ἕως τοῦ συντελέσαι σε πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου Κυρίου· καὶ ἰδοὺ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ζακχῶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὰ ὑπερῷα καὶ τὰς ἀποθήκας τὰς ἐσωτέρας, καὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ, καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα οἴκου Κυρίου.

20 Dijo más David á Salomón su hijo: Anímate y esfuérzate, y ponlo por obra; no temas, ni desmayes, porque el Dios Jehová, mi Dios, será contigo: él no te dejará, ni te desamparará, hasta que acabes toda la obra para el servicio de la casa de Jehová.

20 David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed, for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.

21 Καὶ ἰδοὺ αἱ ἐφημερίαι τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν εἰς πᾶσαν λειτουργίαν οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πάσῃ πραγματείᾳ, καὶ πᾶς πρόθυμος ἐν σοφίᾳ κατὰ πᾶσαν τέχνην, καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς εἰς πάντας τοὺς λόγους σου.

21 He aquí los órdenes de los sacerdotes y de los Levitas, para todo el ministerio de la casa de Dios, serán contigo en toda la obra: asimismo todos los voluntarios é inteligentes para cualquiera especie de industria; y los príncipes, y todo el pueblo para [ejecutar] todas tus órdenes.

21 Behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of God’s house. Every willing man who has skill for any kind of service shall be with you in all kinds of work. Also the captains and all the people will be entirely at your command.”
