1 Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ἡσαῦ· αὐτός ἐστιν Ἐδώμ.
1 Y ESTAS son las generaciones de Esaú, el cual es Edom.
1 Now this is the history of the generations of Esau (that is, Edom).
2 Ἡσαῦ δὲ ἔλαβε τὰς γυναῖκας ἑαυτῷ ἀπὸ τῶν θυγατέρων τῶν Χαναναίων· τὴν Ἀδὰ, θυγατέρα Αἰλὼμ τοῦ Χετταίου· καὶ τὴν Ὀλιβεμὰ, θυγατέρα Ἀνὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ Σεβεγὼν τοῦ Εὐαίου.
2 Esaú tomó sus mujeres de las hijas de Canaán: á Ada, hija de Elón Hetheo, y á Aholibama, hija de Ana, hija de Zibeón el Heveo;
2 Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon, the Hittite; and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, the Hivite;
3 Καὶ τὴν Βασεμὰθ, θυγατέρα Ἰσμαὴλ, ἀδελφὴν Ναβαιώθ.
3 Y á Basemath, hija de Ismael, hermana de Navaioth.
3 and Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
4 Ἔτεκε δὲ αὐτῷ Ἀδὰ τὸν Ἑλιφάς· καὶ Βασεμὰθ ἔτεκε τὸν Ῥαγουήλ.
4 Y Ada parió á Esaú á Eliphaz; y Basemath parió á Reuel.
4 Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz. Basemath bore Reuel.
5 Καὶ Ὀλιβεμὰ ἔτεκε τὸν Ἰεοὺς, καὶ τὸν Ἰεγλὸμ, καὶ τὸν Κορέ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἡσαῦ, οἳ ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ ἐν γῇ Χαναάν.
5 Y Aholibama parió á Jeús, y á Jaalam, y á Cora: estos son los hijos de Esaú, que le nacieron en la tierra de Canaán.
5 Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6 Ἔλαβε δὲ Ἡσαῦ τὰς γυναῖκας αὐτοῦ, καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὰ σώματα τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη, καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐκτήσατο, καὶ πάντα ὅσα περιεποιήσατο ἐν γῇ Χαναάν· καὶ ἐπορεύθη Ἡσαῦ ἐκ τῆς γῆς Χαναὰν ἀπὸ προσώπου Ἰακὼβ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ.
6 Y Esaú tomó sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus hijas, y todas las personas de su casa, y sus ganados, y todas sus bestias, y toda su hacienda que había adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y fuése á otra tierra de delante de Jacob su hermano:
6 Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, with his livestock, all his animals, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan, and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
7 Ἦν γὰρ αὐτῶν τὰ ὑπάρχοντα πολλὰ, τοῦ οἰκεῖν ἅμα· καὶ οὐκ ἠδύνατο ἡ γῆ τῆς παροικήσεως αὐτῶν φέρειν αὐτοὺς, ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτῶν.
7 Porque la hacienda de ellos era grande, y no podían habitar juntos, ni la tierra de su peregrinación los podía sostener á causa de sus ganados.
7 For their substance was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn’t bear them because of their livestock.
8 Κατῴκησε δὲ Ἡσαῦ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σηείρ· Ἡσαῦ αὐτός ἐστιν Ἐδώμ.
8 Y Esaú habitó en el monte de Seir: Esaú es Edom.
8 Esau lived in the hill country of Seir. Esau is Edom.
9 Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ἡσαῦ πατρὸς Ἐδὼμ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σηείρ.
9 Estos son los linajes de Esaú, padre de Edom, en el monte de Seir.
9 This is the history of the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir:
10 Καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ἡσαῦ· Ἑλιφὰς υἱὸς Ἀδὰς γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ· καὶ Ῥαγουὴλ υἱὸς Βασεμὰθ γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ.
10 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Esaú: Eliphaz, hijo de Ada, mujer de Esaú; Reuel, hijo de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
10 these are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, the wife of Esau; and Reuel, the son of Basemath, the wife of Esau.
11 Ἐγένοντο δὲ Ἑλιφὰς υἱοὶ, Θαιμὰν, Ὠμὰρ, Σωφὰρ, Γοθὼμ, καὶ Κενέζ.
11 Y los hijos de Eliphaz fueron Temán, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, y Cenaz.
11 The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 Θαμνὰ δὲ ἦν παλλακὴ Ἑλιφὰς τοῦ υἱοῦ Ἡσαῦ· καὶ ἔτεκε τῷ Ἑλιφὰς τὸν Ἀμαλήκ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἀδὰς γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ.
12 Y Timna fué concubina de Eliphaz, hijo de Esaú, la cual le parió á Amalec: estos son los hijos de Ada, mujer de Esaú.
12 Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the descendants of Adah, Esau’s wife.
13 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ῥαγουὴλ, Ναχὼθ, Ζαρὲ, Σομὲ, καὶ Μοζέ· οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Βασεμὰθ γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ.
13 Y los hijos de Reuel fueron Nahath, Zera, Samma, y Mizza: estos son los hijos de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
13 These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the descendants of Basemath, Esau’s wife.
14 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ὀλιβεμὰς θυγατρὸς Ἀνὰ τοῦ υἱοῦ Σεβεγὼν, γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ· ἔτεκε δὲ τῷ Ἡσαῦ τὸν Ἰεοὺς, καὶ τὸν Ἰεγλὸμ, καὶ τὸν Κορέ.
14 Estos fueron los hijos de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana, que fué hija de Zibeón: ella parió á Esaú á Jeús, Jaalam, y Cora.
14 These were the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: she bore to Esau Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
15 Οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες υἱοὶ Ἡσαῦ· υἱοὶ Ἑλιφὰς πρωτοτόκου Ἡσαῦ· ἡγεμὼν Θαιμὰν, ἡγεμὼν Ὠμὰρ, ἡγεμὼν Σωφὰρ, ἡγεμὼν Κενὲζ,

15 These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16 ἡγεμὼν Κορὲ, ἡγεμὼν Γοθὼμ, ἡγεμὼν Ἀμαλήκ· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ἑλιφὰς ἐν γῇ Ἰδουμαίᾳ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἀδάς.
16 El duque Cora, el duque Gatam, y el duque Amalec: estos son los duques de Eliphaz en la tierra de Edom; estos fueron los hijos de Ada.
16 chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek. These are the chiefs who came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Adah.
17 Καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ῥαγουὴλ υἱοῦ Ἡσαῦ· ἡγεμὼν Ναχὼθ, ἡγεμὼν Ζαρὲ, ἡγεμὼν Σομὲ, ἡγεμὼν Μοζέ· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ῥαγουὴλ ἐν γῇ Ἐδώμ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ Βασεμὰθ γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ.
17 Y estos son los hijos de Reuel, hijo de Esaú: el duque Nahath, el duque Zera, el duque Samma, y el duque Mizza: estos son los duques de la línea de Reuel en la tierra de Edom; estos hijos vienen de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
17 These are the sons of Reuel, Esau’s son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah. These are the chiefs who came of Reuel in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.
18 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ὀλιβεμὰς γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ· ἡγεμὼν Ἰεοὺς, ἡγεμὼν Ἰεγλὸμ, ἡγεμὼν Κορέ· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ὀλιβεμὰς θυγατρὸς Ἀνὰ γυναικὸς Ἡσαῦ.
18 Y estos son los hijos de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú: el duque Jeús, el duque Jaalam, y el duque Cora: estos fueron los duques que salieron de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana.
18 These are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau’s wife: chief Jeush, chief Jalam, chief Korah. These are the chiefs who came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
19 Οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἡσαῦ, καὶ οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες αὐτῶν· οὗτοί εἰσιν υἱοὶ Ἐδώμ.
19 Estos, pues, son los hijos de Esaú, y sus duques: él es Edom.
19 These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their chiefs.
20 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Σηεὶρ τοῦ Χοῤῥαίου, τοῦ κατοικοῦντος τὴν γῆν· Λωτὰν, Σωβὰλ, Σεβεγὼν, Ἀνὰ,
20 Y estos son los hijos de Seir Horeo, moradores de aquella tierra: Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Ana,
20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
21 καὶ Δησὼν, καὶ Ἀσὰρ, καὶ Ῥισών· οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες τοῦ Χοῤῥαίου, τοῦ υἱοῦ Σηεὶρ ἐν τῇ γῇ Ἐδώμ.
21 Disón, Ezer, y Disán: estos son los duques de los Horeos, hijos de Seir en la tierra de Edom.
21 Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
22 Ἐγένοντο δὲ υἱοὶ Λωτάν· Χοῤῥὶ, καὶ Αἱμάν· ἀδελφὴ δὲ Λωτὰν, Θαμνά.
22 Los hijos de Lotán fueron Hori y Hemán; y Timna fué hermana de Lotán.
22 The children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Lotan’s sister was Timna.
23 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Σωβάλ· Γωλὰμ, καὶ Μαναχὰθ, καὶ Γαιβὴλ, καὶ Σωφὰρ, καὶ Ὠμάρ.
23 Y los hijos de Sobal fueron Alván, Manahath, Ebal, Sepho, y Onán.
23 These are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24 Καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Σεβεγὼν, Ἀϊὲ, καὶ Ἀνά· οὗτός ἐστιν Ἀνὰ, ὃς εὗρε τὸν Ἰαμεὶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, ὅτε ἔνεμε τὰ ὑποζύγια Σεβεγὼν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ·
24 Y los hijos de Zibeón fueron Aja, y Ana. Este Ana es el que descubrió los mulos en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de Zibeón su padre.
24 These are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
25 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ἀνά· Δησὼν, καὶ Ὀλιβεμὰ θυγάτηρ Ἀνά.
25 Los hijos de Ana fueron Disón, y Aholibama, hija de Ana.
25 These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
26 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Δησών· Ἀμαδὰ, καὶ Ἀσβὰν, καὶ Ἰθρὰν, καὶ Χαῤῥάν.
26 Y estos fueron los hijos de Disón: Hemdán, Eshbán, Ithram, y Cherán.
26 These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
27 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ἀσάρ· Βαλαὰμ, καὶ Ζουκὰμ, καὶ Ἰουκάμ.
27 Y estos fueron los hijos de Ezer: Bilhán, Zaaván, y Acán.
27 These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
28 Οὗτοι δὲ υἱοὶ Ῥισὼν, Ὧς, καὶ Ἀράν.
28 Estos fueron los hijos de Disán: Huz, y Arán.
28 These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29 Οὗτοι δὲ ἡγεμόνες Χοῤῥί· ἡγεμὼν Λωτὰν, ἡγεμὼν Σωβὰλ, ἡγεμὼν Σεβεγὼν, ἡγεμὼν Ἀνὰ,

31 Καὶ οὗτοι οἱ βασιλεῖς οἱ βασιλεύσαντες ἐν Ἐδὼμ, πρὸ τοῦ βασιλεῦσαι βασιλέα ἐν Ἰσραήλ.
31 Y los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel, fueron estos:
31 These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned over the children of Israel.
32 Καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἐδὼμ Βαλὰκ υἱὸς Βεώρ· καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ, Δενναβά.
32 Bela, hijo de Beor, reinó en Edom: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Dinaba.
32 Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom. The name of his city was Dinhabah.
33 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Βαλὰκ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἰωβὰβ υἱὸς Ζαρὰ ἐκ Βοσόῤῥας.
33 Y murió Bela, y reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Zera, de Bosra.
33 Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his place.
34 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Ἰωβὰβ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἀσὼμ ἐκ τῆς γῆς Θαιμανών.
34 Y murió Jobab, y en su lugar reinó Husam, de tierra de Temán.
34 Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
35 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Ἀσὼμ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἀδὰδ υἱὸς Βαρὰδ ὁ ἐκκόψας Μαδιὰμ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ Μωάβ· καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Γετθαίμ.
35 Y murió Husam, y reinó en su lugar Adad, hijo de Badad, el que hirió á Midián en el campo de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Avith.
35 Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.
36 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Ἀδὰδ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Σαμαδὰ ἐκ Μασσεκκάς.
36 Y murió Adad, y en su lugar reinó Samla, de Masreca.
36 Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
37 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Σαμαδὰ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Σαοὺλ ἐκ Ῥοωβὼθ τῆς παρὰ ποταμόν.
37 Y murió Samla, y reinó en su lugar Saúl, de Rehoboth del Río.
37 Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the river, reigned in his place.
38 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Σαοὺλ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Βαλλενὼν υἱὸς Ἀχοβώρ.
38 Y murió Saúl, y en lugar suyo reinó Baalanán, hijo de Achbor.
38 Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
39 Ἀπέθανε δὲ Βαλλενὼν υἱὸς Ἀχοβὼρ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντʼ αὐτοῦ Ἀρὰδ υἱὸς Βαράδ· καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Φογώρ· ὄνομα δὲ τῇ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ Μετεβεὴλ, θυγάτηρ Ματραῒθ, υἱοῦ Μαιζοώβ.
39 Y murió Baalanán, hijo de Achbor, y reinó Adar en lugar suyo: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Pau; y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.
39 Baal Hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place. The name of his city was Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
40 Ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἡγεμόνων Ἡσαῦ, ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν, κατὰ τόπον αὐτῶν, ἐν ταῖς χώραις αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν· ἡγεμὼν Θαμνὰ, ἡγεμὼν Γωλὰ, ἡγεμὼν Ἰεθὲρ,
40 Estos, pues, son los nombres de los duques de Esaú por sus linajes, por sus lugares, y sus nombres: el duque Timna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetheth,
40 These are the names of the chiefs who came from Esau, according to their families, after their places, and by their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41 ἡγεμὼν Ὁλιβεμὰς, ἡγεμὼν Ἡλὰς, ἡγεμὼν Φινὼν,

43 chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom, according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau, the father of the Edomites.
