1 Καὶ ἦλθε πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ πρὸς Δαυὶδ ἐν Χεβρὼν, λέγοντες, ἰδοὺ ὀστᾶ σου καὶ σάρκες σου ἡμεῖς,
1 ENTONCES todo Israel se juntó á David en Hebrón, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos tu hueso y tu carne.
1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David to Hebron, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
2 καὶ ἐχθὲς καὶ τρίτην ὄντος Σαοὺλ βασιλέως, σὺ ἦσθα ὁ ἐξάγων καὶ εἰσάγων τὸν Ἰσραήλ· καὶ εἶπεν Ἰσραὴλ Κύριός σοι, σὺ ποιμανεῖς τὸν λαόν μου τὸν Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ σὺ ἔσῃ εἰς ἡγούμενον ἐπὶ Ἰσραήλ.
2 Y además antes de ahora, aun mientras Saúl reinaba, tú sacabas y metías á Israel. También Jehová tu Dios te ha dicho: Tú apacentarás mi pueblo Israel, y tú serás príncipe sobre Israel mi pueblo.
2 In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. Yahweh your God said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’”
3 Καὶ ἦλθον πάντες πρεσβύτεροι Ἰσραὴλ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα εἰς Χεβρών· καὶ διέθετο αὐτοῖς ὁ βασιλεὺς Δαυὶδ διαθήκην ἐν Χεβρὼν ἔναντι Κυρίου· καὶ ἔχρισαν τὸν Δαυὶδ εἰς βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ἰσραὴλ κατὰ τὸν λόγον Κυρίου διὰ χειρὸς Σαμουήλ.
3 Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel al rey en Hebrón, y David hizo con ellos alianza delante de Jehová; y ungieron á David por rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová por mano de Samuel.
3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Yahweh. They anointed David king over Israel, according to Yahweh’s word by Samuel.
4 Καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ ἄνδρες αὐτοῦ εἰς Ἱερουσαλὴμ, αὕτη Ἰεβοὺς, καὶ ἐκεῖ οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν γῆν εἶπον τῷ Δανιδ, οὐκ εἰσελεύση ὧδε·
4 Entonces se fué David con todo Israel á Jerusalem, la cual es Jebus; y allí era el Jebuseo habitador de aquella tierra.
4 David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
5 καὶ προκατελάβετο τὴν περιοχὴν Σιών· αὕτη ἡ πόλις Δαυίδ.
5 Y los moradores de Jebus dijeron á David: No entrarás acá. Mas David tomó la fortaleza de Sión, que es la ciudad de David.
5 The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.
6 Καὶ εἶπε Δαυὶδ, πᾶς τύπτων Ἰεβουσαῖον ἐν πρώτοις, καὶ ἔσται εἰς ἄρχοντα καὶ εἰς στρατηγόν· καὶ ἀνέβη ἐπʼ αὐτὴν ἐν πρώτοις Ἰωὰβ υἱὸς Σαρουία, καὶ ἐγένετο εἰς ἄρχοντα.
6 Y David había dicho: El que primero hiriere al Jebuseo, será cabeza y jefe. Entonces Joab hijo de Sarvia subió el primero, y fué hecho jefe.
6 David had said, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, and was made chief.
7 Καὶ ἐκάθισε Δαυὶδ ἐν τῇ περιοχῇ· διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὴν πόλιν Δαυίδ.
7 Y David habitó en la fortaleza, y por esto le llamaron la ciudad de David.
7 David lived in the stronghold; therefore they called it David’s city.
8 Καὶ ᾠκοδόμησε τὴν πόλιν κύκλῳ.
8 Y edificó la ciudad alrededor, desde Millo hasta la cerca: y Joab reparó el resto de la ciudad.
8 He built the city all around, from Millo even around; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
9 Καὶ ἐπορεύετο Δαυὶδ πορευόμενος καὶ μεγαλυνόμενος, καὶ Κύριος παντοκράτωρ μετʼ αὐτοῦ.
9 Y David iba adelantando y creciendo, y Jehová de los ejércitos era con él.
9 David grew greater and greater, for Yahweh of Armies was with him.
10 καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἄρχοντες τῶν δυνατῶν, οἳ ἦσαν τῷ Δαυὶδ, οἱ κατισχύοντες μετʼ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ μετὰ παντὸς Ἰσραὴλ, τοῦ βασιλεῦσαι αὐτὸν κατὰ τὸν λόγον Κυρίου ἐπὶ Ἰσραήλ.
10 Estos son los principales de los valientes que David tuvo, y los que le ayudaron en su reino, con todo Israel, para hacerle rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.
10 Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who showed themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to Yahweh’s word concerning Israel.
11 Καὶ οὗτος ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῶν δυνατῶν τοῦ Δαυίδ· Ἰεσεβαδὰ υἱὸς ʼΑχαμὰν πρῶτος τῶν τριάκοντα· οὗτος ἐσπάσατο τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτοῦ ἅπαξ ἐπὶ τριακοσίους τραυματίας ἐν καιρῷ ἑνί.
11 Y este es el número de los valientes que David tuvo: Jasobam hijo de Hachmoni, caudillo de los treinta, el cual blandió su lanza una vez contra trescientos, á los cuales mató.
11 This is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them at one time.
12 Καὶ μετʼ αὐτὸν Ἐλεάζαρ υἱὸς Δωδαῒ ὁ Ἀχωχί· οὗτος ἦν ἐν τοῖς τρισὶ δυνατοῖς.
12 Tras de éste fué Eleazar hijo de Dodo, Ahohita, el cual era de los tres valientes.
12 After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
13 Οὗτος ἦν μετὰ Δαυὶδ ἐν Φασσδαμὶν, καὶ οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι συνήχθησαν ἐκεῖ εἰς πόλεμον, καὶ ἦν μερὶς τοῦ ἀγροῦ πλήρης κριθῶν, καὶ ὁ λαὸς ἔφυγεν ἀπὸ προσώπου ἀλλοφύλων.
13 Este estuvo con David en Pasdammin, estando allí juntos en batalla los Filisteos: y había [allí] una suerte de tierra llena de cebada, y huyendo el pueblo delante de los Filisteos,
13 He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
14 Καὶ ἔστη ἐν μέσῳ τῆς μερίδος, καὶ ἔσωσεν αὐτὴν, καὶ ἐπάταξε τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους, καὶ ἐποίησε Κύριος σωτηρίαν μεγάλην.
14 Pusiéronse ellos en medio de la haza, y la defendieron, y vencieron á los Filisteos; y favoreciólos Jehová con grande salvamento.
14 They stood in the middle of the plot, defended it, and killed the Philistines; and Yahweh saved them by a great victory.
15 Καὶ κατέβησαν τρεῖς ἐκ τῶν τριάκοντα ἀρχόντων εἰς τὴν πέτραν πρὸς Δαυὶδ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον Ὀδολλὰμ, καὶ παρεμβολὴ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῶν γιγάντων.
15 Y tres de los treinta principales descendieron á la peña á David, á la cueva de Adullam, estando el campo de los Filisteos en el valle de Raphaim.
15 Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines were encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
16 Καὶ Δαυὶδ τότε ἐν τῇ περιοχῇ, καὶ τὸ σύστημα τῶν ἀλλοφύλων τότε ἐν Βηθλεέμ.
16 Y David estaba entonces en la fortaleza, y había á la sazón guarnición de Filisteos en Beth-lehem.
16 David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was in Bethlehem at that time.
17 Καὶ ἐπεθύμησε Δαυὶδ, καὶ εἶπε, τίς ποτιεῖ με ὕδωρ ἐκ τοῦ λάκκου Βηθλεὲμ τοῦ ἐν τῇ πύλῃ;
17 David deseó entonces, y dijo: ¡Quién me diera á beber de las aguas del pozo de Beth-lehem, que está á la puerta!
17 David longed, and said, “Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”
18 Καὶ διέῤῥηξαν οἱ τρεῖς τὴν παρεμβολὴν τῶν ἀλλοφύλων· καὶ ὑδρεύσαντο ὕδωρ ἐκ τοῦ λάκκου τοῦ ἐν Βηθλεὲμ, ὃς ἦν ἐν τῇ πύλῃ, καὶ ἔλαβον καὶ ἤλθον πρὸς Δαυίδ· καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησε Δαυὶδ τοῦ πιεῖν αὐτὸ, καὶ ἔσπεισεν αὐτὸ τῷ Κυρίῳ,
18 Y aquellos tres rompieron por el campo de los Filisteos, y sacaron agua del pozo de Beth-lehem, que está á la puerta, y tomaron y trajéronla á David: mas él no la quiso beber, sino que la derramó á Jehová, y dijo:
18 The three broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, took it, and brought it to David; but David would not drink any of it, but poured it out to Yahweh,
19 καὶ εἶπεν, ἵλεώς μοι ὁ θεὸς τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο· εἰ αἷμα ἀνδρῶν τούτων πίομαι ἐν ψυχαῖς αὐτῶν; ὅτι ἐν ψυχαῖς αὐτῶν ἤνεγκαν· καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλετο πιεῖν αὐτό· ταῦτα ἐποίησαν οἱ τρεῖς δυνατοί.
19 Guárdeme mi Dios de hacer esto: ¿había yo de beber la sangre de estos varones con sus vidas, que con [peligro de] sus vidas la han traído? Y no la quiso beber. Esto hicieron aquellos tres valientes.
19 and said, “My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.
20 Καὶ Ἀβισὰ ἀδελφὸς Ἰωὰβ, οὗτος ἦν ἄρχων τῶν τριῶν· οὗτος ἐσπάσατο τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τριακοσίους τραυματίας ἐν καιρῷ ἑνὶ, καὶ οὗτος ἦν ὀνομαστὸς ἐν τοῖς τρισίν.
20 Y Abisai, hermano de Joab, era cabeza de los tres, el cual blandió su lanza sobre trescientos, á los cuales hirió; y fué entre los tres nombrado.
20 Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the three; for he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.
21 Ἀπὸ τῶν τριῶν ὑπὲρ τοὺς δύο ἔνδοξος, καὶ ἦν αὐτοῖς εἰς ἄρχοντα, καὶ ἕως τῶν τριῶν οὐκ ἤρχετο.
21 De los tres fué más ilustre que los [otros] dos, y fué el principal de ellos: mas no llegó á los tres [primeros].
21 Of the three, he was more honorable than the two, and was made their captain; however he wasn’t included in the three.
22 Καὶ Βαναία υἱὸς Ἰωδαὲ υἱὸς ἄνδρος δυνατοῦ, πολλὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ ὑπὲρ Καβασαήλ· οὗτος ἐπάταξε τοὺς δύο ἀριὴλ Μωὰβ, καὶ οὗτος κατέβη καὶ ἐπάταξε τὸν λέοντα ἐν τῷ λάκκῳ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ χιόνος.
22 Benaías hijo de Joiada, hijo de varón de esfuerzo, de grandes hechos, de Cabseel: él venció los dos leones de Moab: también descendió, é hirió un león en mitad de un foso en tiempo de nieve.
22 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit on a snowy day.
23 Καὶ οὗτος ἐπάταξε τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν Αἰγύπτιον, ἄνδρα ὁρατὸν πεντάπηχυν, καὶ ἐν χειρὶ τοῦ Αἰγυπτίου δόρυ ὡς ἀντίον ὑφαινόντων· καὶ κατέβη ἐπʼ αὐτὸν Βαναία ἐν ῥάβδῳ, καὶ ἀφείλατο ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς τοῦ Αἰγυπτίου τὸ δόρυ, καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ δόρατι αὐτοῦ.
23 El mismo venció á un Egipcio, hombre de cinco codos de estatura: y el Egipcio traía una lanza como un enjullo de tejedor; mas él descendió á él con un bastón, y arrebató al Egipcio la lanza de la mano, y matólo con su misma lanza.
23 He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high. In the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he went down to him with a staff, plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear.
24 Ταῦτα ἐποίησε Βαναία υἱὸς Ἰωδαὲ, καὶ τούτῳ ὄνομα ἐν τοῖς τρισὶ τοῖς δυνατοῖς. Ὑπὲρ τοὺς τριάκοντα ἦν ἔνδοξος οὗτος, καὶ πρὸς τοὺς τρεῖς οὐκ ἤρχετο· καὶ κατέστησεν αὐτὸν Δαυὶδ ἐπὶ τὴν πατριὰν αὐτοῦ.
24 Esto hizo Benaías hijo de Joiada, y fué nombrado entre los tres valientes.
24 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did these things and had a name among the three mighty men.
25 Ὑπὲρ τοὺς τριάκοντα ἦν ἔνδοξος οὗτος, καὶ πρὸς τοὺς τρεῖς οὐκ ἤρχετο· καὶ κατέστησεν αὐτὸν Δαυεὶδ ἐπὶ τὴν πατριὰν αὐτοῦ.
25 Y fué el más honrado de los treinta, mas no llegó á los tres [primeros]. A éste puso David en su consejo.
25 Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three; and David set him over his guard.
26 Καὶ δυνατοὶ τῶν δυνάμεων, Ἀσαὴλ ἀδελφὸς Ἰωὰβ, Ἐλεανὰν υἱὸς Δωδωὲ ἐκ Βηθλεὲμ,
26 Y los valientes de los ejércitos: Asael hermano de Joab, y Elchânan hijo de Dodo de Beth-lehem;
26 The mighty men of the armies also include Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
27 Σαμαὼθ ὁ ʼΑρωρὶ, Χελλὴς ὁ Φελωνὶ,
27 Samoth de Arori, Helles Pelonita;
27 Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,
28 Ὠρὰ υἱὸς Ἐκκὶς ὁ Θεκωί, Ἀβιέζερ ὁ Ἀναθωθὶ,
28 Ira hijo de Acces Tecoita, Abiezer Anathothita;
28 Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,
29 Σοβοχαὶ ὁ Οὐσαθὶ, Ἠλὶ ὁ Ἀχωνὶ,
29 Sibbecai Husatita, Ilai Ahohita;
29 Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
30 Μαραῒ ὁ Νετωφαθὶ, Χθαὸδ υἱὸς Νοοζὰ ὁ Νετωφαθὶ,
30 Maharai Nethophathita, Heled hijo de Baana Nethophathita;

31 Αἰρεὶ υἱὸς Ῥεβιὲ ἐκ βουνοῦ Βενιαμὶν, Βαναίας ὁ Φαραθωνὶ,
