1 Η κατά της Αιγύπτου όρασις. Ιδού, ο Κύριος επιβαίνει επί νεφέλης κούφης και θέλει επέλθει επί την Αίγυπτον· και τα είδωλα της Αιγύπτου θέλουσι σεισθή από προσώπου αυτού, και η καρδία της Αιγύπτου θέλει διαλυθή εν μέσω αυτής.
1 CARGA de Egipto. He aquí que Jehová monta sobre una ligera nube, y entrará en Egipto; y los ídolos de Egipto se moverán delante de él, y desleiráse el corazón de los Egipcios en medio de ellos.
1 The burden of Egypt. “Behold, Yahweh rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence; and the heart of Egypt will melt within it.
2 Και θέλει σηκώσει Αιγυπτίους κατά Αιγυπτίων, και θέλουσι πολεμήσει έκαστος κατά του αδελφού αυτού και έκαστος κατά του πλησίον αυτού· πόλις κατά πόλεως, βασιλεία κατά βασιλείας.
2 Y revolveré Egipcios contra Egipcios, y cada uno peleará contra su hermano, cada uno contra su prójimo: ciudad contra ciudad, y reino contra reino.
2 I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians, and they will fight everyone against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 Και θέλει εκλείψει το πνεύμα της Αιγύπτου εν μέσω αυτής· και θέλω ανατρέψει την βουλήν αυτής· και θέλουσιν ερωτήσει τα είδωλα και τους μάγους και τους εγγαστριμύθους και τους μάντεις.
3 Y el espíritu de Egipto se desvanecerá en medio de él, y destruiré su consejo; y preguntarán á sus imágenes, á sus mágicos, á sus pythones y á sus adivinos.
3 The spirit of the Egyptians will fail within them. I will destroy their counsel. They will seek the idols, the charmers, those who have familiar spirits, and the wizards.
4 Και θέλω παραδώσει τους Αιγυπτίους εις χείρα σκληρών κυρίων· και βασιλεύς άγριος θέλει εξουσιάζει αυτούς, λέγει ο Κύριος, ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων.
4 Y entregaré á Egipto en manos de señor duro; y rey violento se enseñoreará de ellos, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
4 I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord. A fierce king will rule over them,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.
5 Και τα ύδατα θέλουσιν εκλείψει εκ των θαλασσών και ο ποταμός θέλει αφανισθή και καταξηρανθή.
5 Y las aguas de la mar faltarán, y el río se agotará y secará.
5 The waters will fail from the sea, and the river will be wasted and become dry.
6 Και οι ποταμοί θέλουσι στειρεύσει· οι ρύακες οι περιπεφραγμένοι θέλουσι κενωθή και καταξηρανθή· ο κάλαμος και ο σπάρτος θέλουσι μαρανθή·
6 Y alejaránse los ríos, se agotarán y secarán las corrientes de los fosos: la caña y el carrizo serán cortados.
6 The rivers will become foul. The streams of Egypt will be diminished and dried up. The reeds and flags will wither away.
7 τα λιβάδια πλησίον των ρυάκων, επί των στομίων των ρυάκων, και παν το εσπαρμένον παρά τους ρύακας θέλει ξηρανθή, απορριφθή και αφανισθή.
7 Las verduras de junto al río, de junto á la ribera del río, y toda sementera del río, se secarán, se perderán, y no serán.
7 The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
8 Και οι αλιείς θέλουσι στενάξει και πάντες οι ρίπτοντες άγκιστρον εις τους ρύακας θέλουσι θρηνήσει και οι βάλλοντες δίκτυα επί τα ύδατα θέλουσι νεκρωθή.
8 Los pescadores también se entristecerán; y harán duelo todos los que echan anzuelo en el río, y desfallecerán los que extienden red sobre las aguas.
8 The fishermen will lament, and all those who fish in the Nile will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will languish.
9 Και οι εργαζόμενοι εις λεπτόν λινάριον και οι πλέκοντες δίκτυα θέλουσι ταραχθή.
9 Los que labran lino fino, y los que tejen redes, serán confundidos;
9 Moreover those who work in combed flax, and those who weave white cloth, will be confounded.
10 Και οι στύλοι αυτής θέλουσι συντριφθή και πάντες οι κερδαίνοντες από ιχθυοτροφείων.
10 Porque todas sus redes serán rotas: y se entristecerán todos los que hacen viveros para peces.
10 The pillars will be broken in pieces. All those who work for hire will be grieved in soul.
11 Βεβαίως οι άρχοντες της Τάνεως είναι μωροί, η βουλή των σοφών συμβούλων του Φαραώ κατεστάθη άλογος· πως λέγετε έκαστος προς τον Φαραώ, Εγώ είμαι υιός σοφών, υιός αρχαίων βασιλέων;
11 Ciertamente son necios los príncipes de Zoán; el consejo de los prudentes consejeros de Faraón, se ha desvanecido. ¿Cómo diréis á Faraón: Yo soy hijo de los sabios, é hijo de los reyes antiguos?
11 The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish. The counsel of the wisest counselors of Pharaoh has become stupid. How do you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings”?
12 Που, που, οι σοφοί σου; και ας είπωσι τώρα προς σε, και ας καταλάβωσι τι εβουλεύθη ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων κατά της Αιγύπτου.
12 ¿Dónde están ahora aquellos tus prudentes? Dígante ahora, ó hágante saber qué es lo que Jehová de los ejércitos ha determinado sobre Egipto.
12 Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you now; and let them know what Yahweh of Armies has purposed concerning Egypt.
13 Οι άρχοντες της Τάνεως εμωράνθησαν, οι άρχοντες της Μέμφεως επλανήθησαν· και επλάνησαν την Αίγυπτον οι άρχοντες των φυλών αυτής.
13 Hanse desvanecido los príncipes de Zoán, se han engañado los príncipes de Noph: engañaron á Egipto las esquinas de sus familias.
13 The princes of Zoan have become fools. The princes of Memphis are deceived. They have caused Egypt to go astray, those who are the cornerstone of her tribes.
14 Ο Κύριος εκέρασεν εν τω μέσω αυτής πνεύμα παραφροσύνης· και επλάνησαν την Αίγυπτον εις πάντα τα έργα αυτής, ως ο μεθύων πλανάται εν τω εμετώ αυτού.
14 Jehová mezcló espíritu de vahido en medio de él; é hicieron errar á Egipto en toda su obra, como desatina el borracho en su vómito.
14 Yahweh has mixed a spirit of perverseness in the middle of her; and they have caused Egypt to go astray in all of its works, like a drunken man staggers in his vomit.
15 Και δεν θέλει είσθαι έργον διά την Αίγυπτον, το οποίον η κεφαλή ή η ουρά, ο κλάδος ή ο σπάρτος, να δύναται να κάμη.
15 Y no aprovechará á Egipto cosa que haga la cabeza ó la cola, el ramo ó el junco.
15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which head or tail, palm branch or rush, may do.
16 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα οι Αιγύπτιοι θέλουσιν είσθαι ως γυναίκες, και θέλουσι τρομάξει και φοβηθή από της χειρός του Κυρίου των δυνάμεων σειομένης, την οποίαν σείει επ' αυτούς.
16 En aquel día serán los Egipcios como mujeres; porque se asombrarán y temerán, en la presencia de la mano alta de Jehová de los ejércitos, que él ha de levantar sobre ellos.
16 In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of Yahweh of Armies’s hand, which he shakes over them.
17 Και η γη του Ιούδα θέλει είσθαι φρίκη εις τους Αιγυπτίους· πας όστις ενθυμείται αυτήν θέλει φρίττει, διά την βουλήν του Κυρίου των δυνάμεων, την οποίαν απεφάσισεν εναντίον αυτών.
17 Y la tierra de Judá será de espanto á Egipto; todo hombre que de ella se acordare se asombrará, por causa del consejo que Jehová de los ejércitos acordó sobre aquél.
17 The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt. Everyone to whom mention is made of it will be afraid, because of the plans of Yahweh of Armies, which he determines against it.
18 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα πέντε πόλεις θέλουσιν είσθαι εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου λαλούσαι την γλώσσαν της Χαναάν και ομνύουσαι εις τον Κύριον των δυνάμεων· η μία θέλει ονομάζεσθαι η πόλις Αχέρες.
18 En aquel tiempo habrá cinco ciudades en la tierra de Egipto que hablen la lengua de Canaán, y que juren por Jehová de los ejércitos: una será llamada la ciudad Herez.
18 In that day, there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan, and swear to Yahweh of Armies. One will be called “The city of destruction.”
19 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα θέλει είσθαι εν τω μέσω της γης Αιγύπτου θυσιαστήριον εις τον Κύριον και στήλη κατά το όριον αυτής εις τον Κύριον.
19 En aquel tiempo habrá altar para Jehová en medio de la tierra de Egipto, y el trofeo de Jehová junto á su término.
19 In that day, there will be an altar to Yahweh in the middle of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to Yahweh at its border.
20 Και θέλει είσθαι εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου διά σημείον και μαρτυρίαν εις τον Κύριον των δυνάμεων· διότι θέλουσι βοά προς τον Κύριον εξ αιτίας των καταθλιβόντων, και θέλει εξαποστείλει προς αυτούς σωτήρα και μέγαν και θέλει σώσει αυτούς.
20 Y será por señal y por testimonio á Jehová de los ejércitos en la tierra de Egipto: porque á Jehová clamarán á causa de sus opresores, y él les enviará salvador y príncipe que los libre.
20 It will be for a sign and for a witness to Yahweh of Armies in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yahweh because of oppressors, and he will send them a savior and a defender, and he will deliver them.
21 Και θέλει γνωρισθή ο Κύριος εις τους Αιγυπτίους· και οι Αιγύπτιοι θέλουσι γνωρίσει τον Κύριον εν εκείνη τη ημέρα και θέλουσι προσφέρει θυσίαν και προσφοράν· και θέλουσιν ευχηθή ευχήν εις τον Κύριον και εκπληρώσει αυτήν.
21 Y Jehová será conocido de Egipto, y los de Egipto conocerán á Jehová en aquel día; y harán sacrificio y oblación; y harán votos á Jehová, y [los] cumplirán.
21 Yahweh will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. Yes, they will worship with sacrifice and offering, and will vow a vow to Yahweh, and will perform it.
22 Και θέλει κτυπήσει ο Κύριος την Αίγυπτον· θέλει κτυπήσει και θεραπεύσει αυτήν· και θέλουσιν επιστραφή εις τον Κύριον· και θέλει παρακαλεσθή υπ' αυτών και θέλει ιατρεύσει αυτούς.
22 Y herirá Jehová á Egipto, herirá y sanará; y se convertirán á Jehová, y les será clemente, y los sanará.
22 Yahweh will strike Egypt, striking and healing. They will return to Yahweh, and he will be entreated by them, and will heal them.
23 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα θέλει είσθαι οδός μεγάλη από της Αιγύπτου προς την Ασσυρίαν· και οι Ασσύριοι θέλουσιν ελθεί εις την Αίγυπτον, και οι Αιγύπτιοι εις την Ασσυρίαν, και οι Αιγύπτιοι μετά των Ασσυρίων θέλουσι δουλεύσει εις τον Κύριον.
23 En aquel tiempo habrá una calzada de Egipto á Asiria, y Asirios entrarán en Egipto, y Egipcios en Asiria; y los Egipcios servirán con los Asirios [á Jehová].
23 In that day there will be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria; and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians.
24 Εν εκείνη τη ημέρα ο Ισραήλ θέλει είσθαι ο τρίτος μετά του Αιγυπτίου και μετά του Ασσυρίου· ευλογία εν μέσω της γης θέλει είσθαι·
24 En aquel tiempo, Israel será tercero con Egipto y con Asiria; [será] bendición en medio de la tierra;
24 In that day, Israel will be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, a blessing within the earth;
25 διότι ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων θέλει ευλογήσει αυτούς λέγων, Ευλογημένη η Αίγυπτος ο λαός μου και η Ασσυρία το έργον των χειρών μου και ο Ισραήλ η κληρονομία μου.
25 Porque Jehová de los ejércitos los bendecirá, diciendo: Bendito el pueblo mío Egipto, y el Asirio obra de mis manos, é Israel mi heredad.
25 because Yahweh of Armies has blessed them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”

Cómo se eligieron

«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).

    … idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered."
