1 Εν δε τω εβδόμω έτει εκραταιώθη ο Ιωδαέ, και λαβών τους εκατοντάρχους, Αζαρίαν τον υιόν του Ιεροάμ και Ισμαήλ τον υιόν του Ιωανάν και Αζαρίαν τον υιόν του Ωβήδ και Μαασίαν τον υιόν του Αδαΐου και Ελισαφάτ τον υιόν του Ζιχρί, έκαμε συνθήκην μετ' αυτών.
1 MAS el séptimo año se animó Joiada, y tomó consigo en alianza á los centuriones, Azarías hijo de Jeroam, y á Ismael hijo de Johanán, y á Azarías hijo de Obed, y á Maasías hijo de Adaías, y á Elisaphat hijo de Zichri;
1 In the seventh year, Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds—Azariah the son of Jeroham, Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, Azariah the son of Obed, Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri—into a covenant with him.
2 Και περιήλθον τον Ιούδαν και συνήγαγον τους Λευΐτας εκ πασών των πόλεων του Ιούδα και τους αρχηγούς των πατριών του Ισραήλ, και ήλθον εις Ιερουσαλήμ.
2 Los cuales rodeando por Judá, juntaron los Levitas de todas las ciudades de Judá, y á los príncipes de las familias de Israel, y vinieron á Jerusalem.
2 They went around in Judah and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the heads of fathers’ households of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.
3 Και πάσα η σύναξις έκαμε συνθήκην μετά του βασιλέως εν τω οίκω του Θεού. Και είπε προς αυτούς, Ιδού, ο υιός του βασιλέως θέλει βασιλεύσει, καθώς ελάλησε Κύριος περί των υιών του Δαβίδ.
3 Y toda la multitud hizo alianza con el rey en la casa de Dios. Y él les dijo: He aquí el hijo del rey, el cual reinará, como Jehová lo tiene dicho de los hijos de David.
3 All the assembly made a covenant with the king in God’s house. Jehoiada said to them, “Behold, the king’s son must reign, as Yahweh has spoken concerning the sons of David.
4 Τούτο είναι το πράγμα, το οποίον θέλετε κάμει· το τρίτον από σας οι εισερχόμενοι το σάββατον, εκ των ιερέων και εκ των Λευϊτών, θέλουσι φυλάττει εν ταις πύλαις·
4 Lo que habéis de hacer es: la tercera parte de vosotros, los que entran de semana, estarán de porteros con los sacerdotes y los Levitas;
4 This is the thing that you must do: a third part of you, who come in on the Sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be gatekeepers of the thresholds.
5 και το τρίτον εν τω οίκω του βασιλέως· και το τρίτον εν τη πύλη του θεμελίου· άπας δε ο λαός εν ταις αυλαίς του οίκου του Κυρίου·
5 Y la tercera parte, á la casa del rey; y la tercera parte, á la puerta del fundamento: y todo el pueblo estará en los patios de la casa de Jehová.
5 A third part shall be at the king’s house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation. All the people will be in the courts of Yahweh’s house.
6 και ουδείς θέλει εισέρχεσθαι εις τον ναόν του Κυρίου, ειμή οι ιερείς και όσοι εκ των Λευϊτών λειτουργούσιν· αυτοί θέλουσιν εισέρχεσθαι, διότι είναι άγιοι άπας δε ο λαός θέλει φυλάττει την φυλακήν του Κυρίου·
6 Y ninguno entre en la casa de Jehová, sino los sacerdotes y Levitas que sirven: éstos entrarán, porque están consagrados; y todo el pueblo hará la guardia de Jehová.
6 But let no one come into Yahweh’s house except the priests and those who minister of the Levites. They shall come in, for they are holy, but all the people shall follow Yahweh’s instructions.
7 και οι Λευΐται θέλουσι περικυκλόνει τον βασιλέα κύκλω, έκαστος έχων τα όπλα αυτού εν τη χειρί αυτού· και όστις εισέλθη εις τον οίκον, ας θανατόνεται και θέλετε είσθαι μετά του βασιλέως, όταν εισέρχηται και όταν εξέρχηται.
7 Y los Levitas rodearán al rey por todas partes, y cada uno tendrá sus armas en la mano; y cualquiera que entrare en la casa, muera: y estaréis con el rey cuando entrare, y cuando saliere.
7 The Levites shall surround the king, every man with his weapons in his hand. Whoever comes into the house, let him be slain. Be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out.”
8 Και έκαμον οι Λευΐται και πας ο Ιούδας κατά πάντα όσα προσέταξεν Ιωδαέ ο ιερεύς, και έλαβον έκαστος τους άνδρας αυτού, τους εισερχομένους το σάββατον, μετά των εξερχομένων το σάββατον· διότι Ιωδαέ ο ιερεύς δεν απέλυε τας τάξεις.
8 Y los Levitas y todo Judá lo hicieron todo como lo había mandado el sacerdote Joiada: y tomó cada uno los suyos, los que entraban de semana, y los que salían el sábado: porque el sacerdote Joiada no dió licencia á las compañías.
8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded. They each took his men, those who were to come in on the Sabbath, with those who were to go out on the Sabbath, for Jehoiada the priest didn’t dismiss the shift.
9 Και έδωκεν Ιωδαέ ο ιερεύς εις τους εκατοντάρχους τας λόγχας και τους θυρεούς και τας ασπίδας του βασιλέως Δαβίδ, τας εν τω οίκω του Θεού.
9 Dió también el sacerdote Joiada á los centuriones las lanzas, paveses y escudos que habían sido del rey David, que estaban en la casa de Dios;
9 Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds the spears, bucklers, and shields that had been king David’s, which were in God’s house.
10 Και έστησε πάντα τον λαόν, έκαστον άνδρα έχοντα τα όπλα αυτού εν τη χειρί αυτού, τα από της δεξιάς πλευράς του οίκου έως της αριστεράς πλευράς του οίκου, πλησίον του θυσιαστηρίου και του ναού, κύκλω του βασιλέως.
10 Y puso en orden á todo el pueblo, teniendo cada uno su espada en la mano, desde el rincón derecho del templo hasta el izquierdo, hacia el altar y la casa, en derredor del rey por todas partes.
10 He set all the people, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, near the altar and the house, around the king.
11 Τότε εξήγαγον τον υιόν του βασιλέως, και επέθεσαν επ' αυτόν το διάδημα και το μαρτύριον, και έκαμον αυτόν βασιλέα. Και έχρισαν αυτόν ο Ιωδαέ και οι υιοί αυτού και είπον, Ζήτω ο βασιλεύς.
11 Entonces sacaron al hijo del rey, y pusiéronle la corona y el testimonio, é hiciéronle rey; y Joiada y sus hijos le ungieron, diciendo luego: ¡Viva el rey!
11 Then they brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, gave him the covenant, and made him king. Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and they said, “Long live the king!”
12 Και ακούσασα η Γοθολία την φωνήν του λαού τρέχοντος και ευφημούντος τον βασιλέα, ήλθε προς τον λαόν εις τον οίκον του Κυρίου.
12 Y como Athalía oyó el estruendo de la gente que corría, y de los que bendecían al rey, vino al pueblo á la casa de Jehová;
12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into Yahweh’s house.
13 Και είδε, και ιδού, ο βασιλεύς ίστατο πλησίον του στύλου αυτού εν τη εισόδω, και οι άρχοντες και αι σάλπιγγες πλησίον του βασιλέως· και πας ο λαός της γης έχαιρε και εσάλπιζον εν ταις σάλπιγξι, και οι ψαλτωδοί έψαλλον εν τοις μουσικοίς οργάνοις και όσοι ήσαν επιστήμονες εις το υμνωδείν· τότε διέρρηξεν η Γοθολία τα ιμάτια αυτής και είπε, Προδοσία. Προδοσία.
13 Y mirando, vió al rey que estaba junto á su columna á la entrada, y los príncipes y los trompetas junto al rey, y que todo el pueblo de la tierra hacía alegrías, y sonaban bocinas, y cantaban con instrumentos de música los que sabían alabar. Entonces Athalía rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¡Conjuración, conjuración!
13 Then she looked, and behold, the king stood by his pillar at the entrance, with the captains and the trumpeters by the king. All the people of the land rejoiced and blew trumpets. The singers also played musical instruments, and led the singing of praise. Then Athaliah tore her clothes, and said, “Treason! treason!”
14 Και εξήγαγεν Ιωδαέ ο ιερεύς τους εκατοντάρχους, τους αρχηγούς του στρατεύματος, και είπε προς αυτούς, Εκβάλετε αυτήν έξω των τάξεων· και όστις ακολουθήση αυτήν, ας θανατόνεται εν μαχαίρα. Διότι ο ιερεύς είχεν ειπεί, Μη θανατώσητε αυτήν εν τω οίκω του Κυρίου.
14 Y sacando el pontífice Joiada los centuriones y capitanes del ejército, díjoles: Sacadla fuera del recinto; y el que la siguiere, muera á cuchillo: porque el sacerdote había mandado que no la matasen en la casa de Jehová.
14 Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them, “Bring her out between the ranks; and whoever follows her, let him be slain with the sword.” For the priest said, “Don’t kill her in Yahweh’s house.”
15 Και έβαλον χείρας επ' αυτήν· και ότε ήλθεν εις την είσοδον της πύλης των ίππων, την εις τον οίκον του βασιλέως, εθανάτωσαν αυτήν εκεί.
15 Ellos pues le echaron mano, y luego que hubo ella pasado la entrada de la puerta de los caballos de la casa del rey, allí la mataron.
15 So they made way for her. She went to the entrance of the horse gate to the king’s house; and they killed her there.
16 Και έκαμεν ο Ιωδαέ διαθήκην αναμέσον εαυτού και παντός του λαού και του βασιλέως, ότι θέλουσιν είσθαι λαός του Κυρίου.
16 Y Joiada hizo pacto entre sí y todo el pueblo y el rey, que serían pueblo de Jehová.
16 Jehoiada made a covenant between himself, all the people, and the king, that they should be Yahweh’s people.
17 Και εισήλθον ο πας ο λαός εις τον οίκον του Βάαλ, και εκρήμνισαν αυτόν και τα θυσιαστήρια αυτού και τα είδωλα αυτού κατεσύντριψαν· και Ματθάν τον ιερέα του Βάαλ εθανάτωσαν έμπροσθεν των θυσιαστηρίων.
17 Después de esto entró todo el pueblo en el templo de Baal, y derribáronlo, y también sus altares; é hicieron pedazos sus imágenes, y mataron delante de los altares á Mathán, sacerdote de Baal.
17 All the people went to the house of Baal, broke it down, broke his altars and his images in pieces, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
18 Και έδωκεν ο Ιωδαέ την επιτήρησιν του οίκου του Κυρίου εις τας χείρας των ιερέων των Λευϊτών, τους οποίους ο Δαβίδ διήρεσεν επί του οίκου του Κυρίου, διά να προσφέρωσι ολοκαυτώματα του Κυρίου, ως είναι γραμμένον εν τω νόμω του Μωϋσέως, ευφροσύνη και εν ωδαίς, κατά την διάταξιν του Δαβίδ.
18 Luego ordenó Joiada los oficios en la casa de Jehová bajo la mano de los sacerdotes y Levitas, según David los había distribuído en la casa de Jehová, para ofrecer á Jehová los holocaustos, como está escrito en la ley de Moisés, con gozo y cantares, conforme á la ordenación de David.
18 Jehoiada appointed the officers of Yahweh’s house under the hand of the Levitical priests, whom David had distributed in Yahweh’s house, to offer the burnt offerings of Yahweh, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as David had ordered.
19 Και έστησε τους πυλωρούς εν ταις πύλαις του οίκου του Κυρίου, διά να μη εισέρχηται μηδείς ακάθαρτος δι' οποιονδήποτε πράγμα.
19 Puso también porteros á las puertas de la casa de Jehová, para que por ninguna vía entrase ningún inmundo.
19 He set the gatekeepers at the gates of Yahweh’s house, that no one who was unclean in anything should enter in.
20 Και έλαβε τους εκατοντάρχους και τους δυνατούς και τους άρχοντας του λαού και πάντα τον λαόν της γης, και κατεβίβασε τον βασιλέα εκ του οίκου του Κυρίου· και ήλθον διά της υψηλής πύλης εις τον οίκον του βασιλέως και εκάθισαν τον βασιλέα επί του θρόνου της βασιλείας.
20 Tomó después los centuriones, y los principales, y los que gobernaban el pueblo; y á todo el pueblo de la tierra, y llevó al rey de la casa de Jehová; y viniendo hasta el medio de la puerta mayor de la casa del rey, sentaron al rey sobre el trono del reino.
20 He took the captains of hundreds, the nobles, the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought the king down from Yahweh’s house. They came through the upper gate to the king’s house, and set the king on the throne of the kingdom.
21 Και ευφράνθη πας ο λαός της γής· και η πόλις ησύχασε· την δε Γοθολίαν εθανάτωσαν εν μαχαίρα.
21 Y todo el pueblo del país hizo alegrías: y la ciudad estuvo quieta, muerto que hubieron á Athalía á cuchillo.
21 So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. They had slain Athaliah with the sword.
