1 Ali sada ovako veli Gospod, koji te je stvorio, Jakove, i koji te je sazdao, Izrailju: ne boj se, jer te otkupih, pozvah te po imenu tvom; moj si.
1 Y AHORA, así dice Jehová Criador tuyo, oh Jacob, y Formador tuyo, oh Israel: No temas, porque yo te redimí; te puse nombre, mío eres tú.
1 But now Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
2 Kad pođeš preko vode, ja ću biti s tobom, ili preko reka, neće te potopiti; kad pođeš kroz oganj, nećeš izgoreti i neće te plamen opaliti.
2 Cuando pasares por las aguas, yo seré contigo; y por los ríos, no te anegarán. Cuando pasares por el fuego, no te quemarás, ni la llama arderá en ti.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
3 Jer sam ja Gospod, Bog tvoj, Svetac Izrailjev, Spasitelj tvoj; dadoh u otkup za te Misir, Etiopsku i Sevu mesto tebe.
3 Porque yo Jehová Dios tuyo, el Santo de Israel, [soy] tu Salvador: á Egipto he dado por tu rescate, á Etiopía y á Seba por ti.
3 For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4 Otkako si mi postao drag, proslavio si se i ja te ljubih; i dadoh ljude za te i narode za dušu tvoju.
4 Porque en mis ojos fuiste de grande estima, fuiste honorable, y yo te amé: daré pues hombres por ti, y naciones por tu alma.
4 Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you, therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
5 Ne boj se, jer sam ja s tobom; od istoka ću dovesti seme tvoje, i od zapada sabraću te.
5 No temas, porque yo soy contigo; del oriente traeré tu generación, y del occidente te recogeré.
5 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west.
6 Kazaću severu: Daj, i jugu: Ne brani; dovedi sinove moje iz daleka i kćeri moje s krajeva zemaljskih,
6 Diré al aquilón: Da acá; y al mediodía: No detengas: trae de lejos mis hijos, y mis hijas de los términos de la tierra,
6 I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far away, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
7 Sve, koji se zovu mojim imenom i koje stvorih na slavu sebi, sazdah i načinih.
7 Todos los llamados de mi nombre; para gloria mía los críe, los formé y los hice.
7 everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”
8 Izvedi narod slepi koji ima oči, i gluvi koji ima uši.
8 Sacad al pueblo ciego que tiene ojos, y á los sordos que tienen oídos.
8 Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
9 Svi narodi neka se skupe, i neka se saberu plemena; ko je između njih napred kazao to ili nam kazao šta je bilo pre? Neka dovedu svedoke svoje i opravdaju se; ili neka čuju, i kažu: Istina je.
9 Congréguense á una todas las gentes, y júntense todos los pueblos: ¿quién de ellos hay que nos dé nuevas de esto, y que nos haga oir las cosas primeras? Presenten sus testigos, y justifíquense; oigan, y digan: Verdad.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”
10 Vi ste moji svedoci, veli Gospod, i sluga moj koga izabrah, da biste znali i verovali mi i razumeli da sam ja; pre mene nije bilo Boga niti će posle mene biti.
10 Vosotros sois mis testigos, dice Jehová, y mi siervo que yo escogí; para que me conozcáis y creáis, y entendáis que yo mismo soy; antes de mí no fué formado Dios, ni lo será después de mí.
10 “You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
11 Ja sam, ja sam Gospod, i osim mene nema Spasitelja.
11 Yo, yo Jehová; y fuera de mí no hay quien salve.
11 I myself am Yahweh. Besides me, there is no savior.
12 Ja objavih, i spasoh, i napred kazah, i nikoji tuđ bog među vama, i vi ste mi svedoci, veli Gospod, i ja sam Bog.
12 Yo anuncié, y salvé, é hice oir, y no hubo entre vosotros extraño. Vosotros pues sois mis testigos, dice Jehová, que yo soy Dios.
12 I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses”, says Yahweh, “and I am God.
13 Ja sam od pre nego dan posta, i niko ne može izbaviti iz moje ruke; kad radim, ko će smesti?
13 Aun antes que hubiera día, yo era; y no hay quien de mi mano libre: si yo hiciere, ¿quién lo estorbará?
13 Yes, since the day was, I am he. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?”
14 Ovako govori Gospod Izbavitelj vaš, Svetac Izrailjev: Vas radi poslaću u Vavilon i pobacaću sve prevornice, i Haldejce s lađama, kojima se hvale.
14 Así dice Jehová, Redentor vuestro, el Santo de Israel: Por vosotros envié á Babilonia, é hice descender fugitivos todos ellos, y clamor de Caldeos en las naves.
14 Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
15 Ja sam Gospod Svetac vaš, Stvoritelj Izrailjev, car vaš.
15 Yo Jehová, Santo vuestro, Criador de Israel, vuestro Rey.
15 I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”
16 Ovako govori Gospod koji je načinio po moru put i po silnim vodama stazu,
16 Así dice Jehová, el que da camino en la mar, y senda en las aguas impetuosas;
16 Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
17 Koji izvodi kola i konje, vojsku i silu, da svi popadaju i ne mogu ustati, da se ugase kao što se gasi sveštilo:
17 El que saca carro y caballo, ejército y fuerza; caen juntamente para no levantarse; quedan extinguidos, como pábilo quedan apagados.
17 who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick) says:
18 Ne pominjite šta je pre bilo i ne mislite o starim stvarima.
18 No os acordéis de las cosas pasadas, ni traigáis á memoria las cosas antiguas.
18 “Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old.
19 Evo, ja ću učiniti novo, odmah će nastati; nećete li ga poznati? Još ću načiniti u pustinji put, reke u suvoj zemlji.
19 He aquí que yo hago cosa nueva: presto saldrá á luz: ¿no la sabréis? Otra vez pondré camino en el desierto, y ríos en la soledad.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20 Slaviće me zveri poljske, zmajevi i sove, što sam izveo u pustinju vode, reke u zemlji suvoj, da napojim narod svoj, izabranika svog.
20 La bestia del campo me honrará, los chacales, y los pollos del avestruz: porque daré aguas en el desierto, ríos en la soledad, para que beba mi pueblo, mi escogido.
20 The animals of the field, the jackals and the ostriches, shall honor me, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 Narod koji sazdah sebi, pripovedaće hvalu moju.
21 Este pueblo crié para mí; mis alabanzas publicará.
21 the people which I formed for myself, that they might declare my praise.
22 A ti, Jakove, ne priziva me, i bejah ti dosadan, Izrailju.
22 Y no me invocaste á mí, oh Jacob; antes, de mí te cansaste, oh Israel.
22 Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
23 Nisi mi prineo jagnjeta na žrtvu paljenicu, i žrtvama svojim nisi me počastio; nisam te nagonio da mi služiš prinosima, niti sam te trudio da mi kadiš.
23 No me trajiste á mí los animales de tus holocaustos, ni á mí me honraste con tus sacrificios: no te hice servir con presente, ni te hice fatigar con perfume.
23 You have not brought me any of your sheep for burnt offerings, neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
24 Nisi mi kupio za novce kada, niti si me pretilinom žrtava svojih nasitio, nego si me mučio svojim gresima, i dosadio si mi bezakonjem svojim.
24 No compraste para mí caña [aromática] por dinero, ni me saciaste con la grosura de tus sacrificios; antes me hiciste servir en tus pecados, me has fatigado con tus maldades.
24 You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices, but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
25 Ja, ja sam brišem tvoje prestupe sebe radi, i grehe tvoje ne pominjem.
25 Yo, yo soy el que borro tus rebeliones por amor de mí; y no me acordaré de tus pecados.
25 I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
26 Opomeni me, da se sudimo, kazuj, da se opravdaš.
26 Hazme acordar, entremos en juicio juntamente; relata tú para abonarte.
26 Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Declare your case, that you may be justified.
27 Otac tvoj prvi sagreši, i učitelji tvoji skriviše mi.
27 Tu primer padre pecó, y tus enseñadores prevaricaron contra mí.
27 Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
28 Zato ću izbaciti iz svetinje knezove, i daću Jakova u prokletstvo i Izrailja u sramotu.
28 Por tanto, yo profané los príncipes del santuario, y puse por anatema á Jacob, y por oprobio á Israel.
28 Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”

«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
… is, the Father bearing witness to the Son, and the Son announcing the Father.--As also Esaias says, "I too am witness," he declares, "saith the Lord God, and the Son whom I have chosen, that ye may know, and believe, and understand that I am."
Therefore doth God appoint righteousness as a reward for such repentance, saying, "Be thou first to tell thy sins, that thou mayest be justified." For it is not, it is not indeed, a small step towards amendment, to lay together all our sins, and to be continually revolving and reckoning them up with their particulars.
