1 А кад то чу цар Језекија, раздре хаљине своје и веза око себе кострет, па отиде у дом Господњи.
1 Y COMO el rey Ezechîas lo oyó, rasgó sus vestidos, y cubrióse de saco, y entróse en la casa de Jehová.
1 When King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into Yahweh’s house.
2 И посла Елијакима, који беше над двором, и Сомну писара и најстарије свештенике обучене у кострет к Исаији пророку, сину Амосовом.
2 Y envió á Eliacim el mayordomo, y á Sebna escriba, y á los ancianos de los sacerdotes, vestidos de sacos á Isaías profeta hijo de Amós,
2 He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
3 И рекоше му: Овако вели Језекија: Ово је дан невоље и кара и руга; јер приспеше деца до порођаја, а нема снаге да се роде.
3 Que le dijesen: Así ha dicho Ezechîas: Este día es día de angustia, y de reprensión, y de blasfemia; porque los hijos han venido hasta la rotura, y la que pare no tiene fuerzas.
3 They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.
4 Да ако је чуо Господ Бог твој све што рече Равсак, ког посла цар асирски, господар његов да ружи Бога Живога и да Га вређа речима, које је чуо Господ Бог твој; помоли се за остатак који се налази.
4 Quizá oirá Jehová tu Dios todas las palabras de Rabsaces, al cual el rey de los Asirios su señor ha enviado para injuriar al Dios vivo, y á vituperar con palabras, las cuales Jehová tu Dios ha oído: por tanto, eleva oración por las reliquias que aun se hallan.
4 It may be Yahweh your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which Yahweh your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”
5 И дођоше к Исаији слуге цара Језекије.
5 Vinieron pues los siervos del rey Ezechîas á Isaías.
5 So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
6 И рече им Исаија: Овако реците господару свом: Овако вели Господ: Не плаши се од речи које си чуо, којима хулише на ме слуге цара асирског.
6 E Isaías les respondió: Así diréis á vuestro señor: Así ha dicho Jehová; No temas por las palabras que has oído, con las cuales me han blasfemado los siervos del rey de Asiria.
6 Isaiah said to them, “Tell your master this: ‘Yahweh says, “Don’t be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
7 Ево, ја ћу пустити на њ дух, те ће чути глас и вратити се у своју земљу, и учинићу да погине од мача у својој земљи.
7 He aquí pondré yo en él un espíritu, y oirá rumor, y volveráse á su tierra: y yo haré que en su tierra caiga á cuchillo.
7 Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he will hear news, and will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”
8 И тако, вративши се Равсак нађе цара асирског где бије Ливну, јер беше чуо да је отишао од Лахиса.
8 Y regresando Rabsaces, halló al rey de Asiria combatiendo á Libna; porque había oído que se había partido de Lachîs.
8 So Rabshakeh returned and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah; for he had heard that he had departed from Lachish.
9 А он чу за Тираку, цара хуског где казаше: Ево иде да се бије с тобом. Зато опет посла посланике к Језекији говорећи:
9 Y oyó decir de Thiraca rey de Ethiopía: He aquí es salido para hacerte guerra. Entonces volvió él, y envió embajadores á Ezechîas, diciendo:
9 When he heard it said of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, “Behold, he has come out to fight against you,” he sent messengers again to Hezekiah, saying,
10 Овако реците Језекији, цару Јудином: Немој да те вара Бог твој, у ког се уздаш говорећи: Неће се дати Јерусалим у руке цару асирском.
10 Así diréis á Ezechîas rey de Judá: No te engañe tu Dios en quien tú confías, para decir: Jerusalem no será entregada en mano del rey de Asiria.
10 “Tell Hezekiah king of Judah this: ‘Don’t let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
11 Ето чуо си шта су учинили цареви асирски свим земљама потрвши их сасвим; а ти ли ћеш се избавити?
11 He aquí tú has oído lo que han hecho los reyes de Asiria á todas las tierras, destruyéndolas; ¿y has tú de escapar?
11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly. Will you be delivered?
12 Јесу ли народе које сатрше оци моји избавили богови њихови, Госанце, Харанце, Ресефе и синове Еденове, који беху у Теласару?
12 ¿Libráronlas los dioses de las gentes, que mis padres destruyeron, [es á saber], Gozán, y Harán, y Reseph, y los hijos de Edén que estaban en Thalasar?
12 Have the gods of the nations delivered them, which my fathers have destroyed—Gozan, Haran, Rezeph, and the children of Eden who were in Telassar?
13 Где је цар ематски и цар арфадски и цар од града Сефарвима, од Ене и Аве?
13 ¿Dónde está el rey de Hamath, el rey de Arphad, el rey de la ciudad de Sepharvaim, de Hena, y de Hiva?
13 Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?’”
14 А кад Језекија прими књигу из руку посланика и прочита је, отиде у дом Господњи, и разви је Језекија пред Господом.
14 Y tomó Ezechîas las letras de mano de los embajadores; y después que las hubo leído, subió á la casa de Jehová, y extendiólas Ezechîas delante de Jehová.
14 Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it. Then Hezekiah went up to Yahweh’s house, and spread it before Yahweh.
15 И помоли се Језекија Господу говорећи: Господе Боже Израиљев, који седиш на херувимима, Ти си сам, Бог свим царствима на земљи, Ти си створио небо и земљу,
15 Y oró Ezechîas delante de Jehová, diciendo: Jehová Dios de Israel, que habitas entre los querubines, tú solo eres Dios de todos los reinos de la tierra; tú hiciste el cielo y la tierra.
15 Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said, “Yahweh, the God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
16 пригни, Господе, ухо своје и чуј; отвори, Господе, очи своје и види; чуј речи Сенахирима, који посла да ружи Бога Живога.
16 Inclina, oh Jehová, tu oído, y oye; abre, oh Jehová, tus ojos, y mira: y oye las palabras de Sennachêrib, que ha enviado á blasfemar al Dios viviente.
16 Incline your ear, Yahweh, and hear. Open your eyes, Yahweh, and see. Hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to defy the living God.
17 Истина је, Господе, опустошили су цареви асирски оне народе и земље њихове;
17 Es verdad, oh Jehová, que los reyes de Asiria han destruído las gentes y sus tierras;
17 Truly, Yahweh, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,
18 и побацали су богове њихове у огањ, јер не беху богови, него дело руку човечијих, дрво и камен; зато их потрше.
18 Y que pusieron en el fuego á sus dioses, por cuanto ellos no eran dioses, sino obra de manos de hombres, madera ó piedra, y así los destruyeron.
18 and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they have destroyed them.
19 И зато, Господе Боже наш, избави нас из руку његових, да познаду сва царства на земљи да си Ти, Господе, сам Бог.
19 Ahora pues, oh Jehová Dios nuestro, sálvanos, te suplico, de su mano, para que sepan todos los reinos de la tierra que tú solo, Jehová, eres Dios.
19 Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us, I beg you, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Yahweh, are God alone.”
20 Тада посла Исаија син Амосов к Језекији, и поручи му: Овако вели Господ Бог Израиљев: Услишио сам за шта си ми се молио ради Сенахирима, цара асирског.
20 Entonces Isaías hijo de Amós envió á decir á Ezechîas: Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Lo que me rogaste acerca de Sennachêrib rey de Asiria, he oído.
20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Yahweh, the God of Israel, says ‘You have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, and I have heard you.
21 Ово је реч коју изрече Господ за њ: Руга ти се и подсмева ти се девојка, кћи сионска, за тобом маше главом кћи јерусалимска.
21 Esta es la palabra que Jehová ha hablado contra él: Hate menospreciado, hate escarnecido la virgen hija de Sión; ha movido su cabeza detrás de ti la hija de Jerusalem.
21 This is the word that Yahweh has spoken concerning him: ‘The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.
22 Кога си ружио и хулио? И на кога си подигао глас? И подигао у вис очи своје? На Свеца Израиљевог.
22 ¿A quién has injuriado y á quién has blasfemado? ¿y contra quién has hablado alto, y has alzado en alto tus ojos? Contra el Santo de Israel.
22 Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel!
23 Преко посланика својих ружио си Господа и рекао си: С мноштвом кола својих изиђох на високе горе, на стране ливанске, и посећи ћу високе кедре његове и лепе јеле његове, и ући ћу у крајњи стан његов, у шуму његова Кармила.
23 Por mano de tus mensajeros has proferido injuria contra el Señor, y has dicho: Con la multitud de mis carros he subido á las cumbres de los montes, á las cuestas del Líbano; y cortaré sus altos cedros, sus hayas escogidas; y entraré á la morada de su término, al monte de su Carmel.
23 By your messengers, you have defied the Lord, and have said, “With the multitude of my chariots, I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon, and I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees; and I will enter into his farthest lodging place, the forest of his fruitful field.
24 Ја сам копао и пио воду туђу, и исушио сам стопама својим све потоке градовима.
24 Yo he cavado y bebido las aguas ajenas, y he secado con las plantas de mis pies todos los ríos de lugares bloqueados.
24 I have dug and drunk strange waters, and I will dry up all the rivers of Egypt with the sole of my feet.”
25 Ниси ли чуо да ја то одавна чиним и од искона да сам тако уредио? Сада пуштам то, да превратиш тврде градове у пусте гомиле.
25 ¿Nunca has oído que mucho tiempo ha yo lo hice, y de días antiguos lo he formado? Y ahora lo he hecho venir, y fué para desolación de ciudades fuertes en montones de ruinas.
25 Haven’t you heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it of ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that it should be yours to lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps.
26 Зато који у њима живе изнемогоше, уплашише се и сметоше се, посташе као трава пољска, као зелена травица, као трава на крововима, која се суши пре него сазри.
26 Y sus moradores, cortos de manos, quebrantados y confusos, fueron cual hierba del campo, como legumbre verde, y heno de los tejados, que antes que venga á madurez es seco.
26 Therefore their inhabitants had little power. They were dismayed and confounded. They were like the grass of the field and like the green herb, like the grass on the housetops and like grain blasted before it has grown up.
27 Знам седење твоје, и полажење твоје и долажење твоје знам, и како бесниш на ме.
27 Yo he sabido tu asentarte, tu salir y tu entrar, y tu furor contra mí.
27 But I know your sitting down, your going out, your coming in, and your raging against me.
28 Јер бесниш на ме, и твоја обест дође до мојих ушију; зато ћу метнути брњицу своју на ноздрве твоје и узду своју у губицу твоју, па ћу те одвести натраг путем којим си дошао.
28 Por cuanto te has airado contra mí, y tu estruendo ha subido á mis oídos, yo por tanto pondré mi anzuelo en tus narices, y mi bocado en tus labios, y te haré volver por el camino por donde viniste.
28 Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.’
29 А теби ово нека буде знак: јешћете ове године шта само од себе роди, и друге године шта опет само од себе роди; а треће године сејте и жањите и садите винограде и једите род с њих.
29 Y esto te será por señal [Ezechîas]: Este año comerás lo que nacerá de suyo, y el segundo año lo que nacerá de suyo; y el tercer año haréis sementera, y segaréis, y plantaréis viñas, y comeréis el fruto de ellas.
29 “This will be the sign to you: This year, you will eat that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs from that; and in the third year sow and reap, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
30 Јер остатак дома Јудиног, што остане, опет ће пустити жиле оздо и родити озго.
30 Y lo que hubiere escapado, lo que habrá quedado de la casa de Judá, tornará á echar raíz abajo, y hará fruto arriba.
30 The remnant that has escaped of the house of Judah will again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
31 Јер ће из Јерусалима изаћи остатак, и из горе Сиона, који се сачувају. Ревност Господа над војскама учиниће то.
31 Porque saldrán de Jerusalem reliquias, y los que escaparán, del monte de Sión: el celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
31 For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and out of Mount Zion those who shall escape. Yahweh’s zeal will perform this.
32 Зато овако вели Господ за цара асирског: Неће ући у овај град нити ће бацити амо стреле, неће се примаћи ка њему са штитом, нити ће ископати опкопе око њега.
32 Por tanto, Jehová dice así del rey de Asiria: No entrará en esta ciudad, ni echará saeta en ella; ni vendrá delante de ella escudo, ni será echado contra ella baluarte.
32 “Therefore Yahweh says concerning the king of Assyria, ‘He will not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there. He will not come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.
33 Вратиће се путем којим је дошао, а у град овај неће ући, вели Господ.
33 Por el camino que vino se volverá, y no entrará en esta ciudad, dice Jehová.
33 He will return the same way that he came, and he will not come to this city,’ says Yahweh.
34 Јер ћу бранити тај град, и сачуваћу га себе ради и ради Давида, слуге свог.
34 Porque yo ampararé á esta ciudad para salvarla, por amor de mí, y por amor de David mi siervo.
34 ‘For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for my servant David’s sake.’”
35 И исту ноћ анђео Господњи изађе и поби у логору асирском сто и осамдесет и пет хиљада; и кад усташе ујутру, а то све сами мртваци.
35 Y aconteció que la misma noche salió el ángel de Jehová, é hirió en el campo de los Asirios ciento ochenta y cinco mil; y como se levantaron por la mañana, he aquí los cuerpos de los muertos.
35 That night, Yahweh’s angel went out and struck one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.
36 Те се подиже Сенахирим, цар асирски, и отиде, и вративши се оста у Ниневији.
36 Entonces Sennachêrib, rey de Asiria se partió, y se fué y tornó á Nínive, donde se estuvo.
36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, went home, and lived at Nineveh.
37 И кад се клањаше у дому Нисрока, бога свог, Адрамелех и Сарасар синови његови убише га мачем, а сами побегоше у земљу араратску, и на његово се место зацари Есарадон, син његов.
37 Y aconteció que, estando él adorando en el templo de Nisroch su dios, Adramelech y Saresar sus hijos lo hirieron á cuchillo; y huyéronse á tierra de Ararat. Y reinó en su lugar Esar-hadón su hijo.
37 As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.

«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
