1 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Μωὰβ, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτὸν, ἀνθʼ ὧν κατέκαυσαν τὰ ὀστᾶ βασιλέως τῆς Ἰδουμαίας εἰς κονίαν.

1 ASÍ ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Moab, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque quemó los huesos del rey de Idumea [hasta tornarlos] en cal.

1 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Moab, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime;

2 Καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς Μωὰβ, καὶ καταφάγεται τὰ θεμέλια τῶν πόλεων αὐτῆς, καὶ ἀποθανεῖται ἐν ἀδυναμίᾳ Μωὰβ μετὰ κραυγῆς καὶ μετὰ φωνῆς σάλπιγγος.

2 Y meteré fuego en Moab, y consumirá los palacios de Chêrioth: y morirá Moab en alboroto, en estrépito y sonido de trompeta.

2 but I will send a fire on Moab, and it will devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab will die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

3 Καὶ ἐξολοθρεύσω κριτὴν ἐξ αὐτῆς, καὶ πάντας [ἄρχοντας] αὐτῆς ἀποκτενῶ μετʼ αὐτοῦ, λέγει Κύριος.

3 Y quitaré el juez de en medio de él, y mataré con él á todos sus príncipes, dice Jehová.

3 and I will cut off the judge from among them, and will kill all its princes with him,” says Yahweh.

4 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν Ἰούδα, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσουμαι αὐτὸν, ἕνεκα τοῦ ἀπώσασθαι αὐτοὺς τὸν νόμον τοῦ Κυρίου, καὶ τὰ προστάγματα αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐφυλάξαντο, καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς τὰ μάταια αὐτῶν ἃ ἐποίησαν, οἷς ἐξηκολούθησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν.

4 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Judá, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque menospreciaron la ley de Jehová, y no guardaron sus ordenanzas; é hiciéronlos errar sus mentiras, en pos de las cuales anduvieron sus padres.

4 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Judah, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have rejected Yahweh’s law, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have led them astray, after which their fathers walked;

5 Καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ Ἰούδαν, καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια Ἱερουσαλήμ.

5 Meteré por tanto fuego en Judá, el cual consumirá los palacios de Jerusalem.

5 but I will send a fire on Judah, and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

6 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτὸν, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἀπέδοντο ἀργυρίου δίκαιον, καὶ πένητα ἕνεκεν ὑποδημάτων,

6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Israel, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque vendieron por dinero al justo, y al pobre por un par de zapatos:

6 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Israel, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals;

7 τὰ πατοῦντα ἐπὶ τὸν χοῦν τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐκονδύλιζον εἰς κεφαλὰς πτωχῶν, καὶ ὁδὸν ταπεινῶν ἐξέκλιναν, καὶ υἱὸς καὶ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ εἰσεπορεύοντο πρὸς τὴν αὐτὴν παιδίσκην, ὅπως βεβηλῶσι τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ Θεοῦ αὐτῶν.

7 Que anhelan porque haya polvo de tierra sobre la cabeza de los pobres, y tuercen el camino de los humildes: y el hombre y su padre entraron á la [misma] moza, profanando mi santo nombre.

7 They trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the earth and deny justice to the oppressed. A man and his father use the same maiden, to profane my holy name.

8 Καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν δεσμεύοντες σχοινίοις, παραπετάσματα ἐποίουν ἐχόμενα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, καὶ οἶνον ἐκ συκοφαντιῶν ἔπινον ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ Θεοῦ αὐτῶν.

8 Y sobre las ropas empeñadas se acuestan junto á cualquier altar; y el vino de los penados beben en la casa de sus dioses.

8 They lay themselves down beside every altar on clothes taken in pledge. In the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.

9 Ἐγὼ δὲ ἐξῇρα τὸν Ἀμοῤῥαῖον ἐκ προσώπου αὐτῶν, οὗ ἦν, καθὼς ὕψος κέδρου, τὸ ὕψος αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἰσχυρὸς ἦν ὡς δρῦς, καὶ ἐξήρανα τὸν καρπὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπάνωθεν, καὶ τὰς ῥίζας αὐτοῦ ὑποκάτωθεν.

9 Y yo destruí delante de ellos al Amorrheo, cuya altura era como la altura de los cedros, y fuerte como un alcornoque; y destruí su fruto arriba, sus raíces abajo.

9 Yet I destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

10 Καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου, καὶ περιήγαγον ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη, τοῦ κατακληρονομῆσαι τὴν γῆν τῶν Ἀμοῤῥαίων.

10 Y yo os hice á vosotros subir de la tierra de Egipto, y os traje por el desierto cuarenta años, para que poseyeseis la tierra del Amorrheo.

10 Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

11 Καὶ ἔλαβον ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν ὑμῶν εἰς προφήτας, καὶ ἐκ τῶν νεανίσκων ὑμῶν εἰς ἁγιασμόν· μὴ οὐκ ἔστι ταῦτα υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ; λέγει Κύριος.

11 Y levanté de vuestros hijos para profetas, y de vuestros mancebos para que fuesen Nazareos. ¿No es esto así, dice Jehová, hijos de Israel?

11 I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Isn’t this true, you children of Israel?” says Yahweh.

12 Καὶ ἐποτίζετε τοὺς ἡγιασμένους οἶνον, καὶ τοῖς προφήταις ἐνετέλλεσθε λέγοντες, οὐ μὴ προφητεύσητε.

12 Mas vosotros disteis de beber vino á los Nazareos; y á los profetas mandasteis, diciendo: No profeticéis.

12 “But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘Don’t prophesy!’

13 Διατοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ κυλίω ὑποκάτω ὑμῶν, ὃν τρόπον κυλίεται ἡ ἅμαξα ἡ γέμουσα καλάμης.

13 Pues he aquí, yo [os] apretaré en vuestro lugar, como se aprieta el carro lleno de haces;

13 Behold, I will crush you in your place, as a cart crushes that is full of grain.

14 Καὶ ἀπολεῖται φυγὴ ἐκ δρομέως, καὶ ὁ κραταιὸς οὐ μὴ κρατήσῃ τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ, καὶ ὁ μαχητὴς οὐ μὴ σώσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ.

14 Y la huída perecerá del ligero, y el fuerte no esforzará su fuerza, ni el valiente librará su vida;

14 Flight will perish from the swift. The strong won’t strengthen his force. The mighty won’t deliver himself.

15 Καὶ ὁ τοξότης οὐ μὴ ὑποστῇ καὶ ὁ ὀξὺς τοῖς ποσὶν αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ διασωθῇ, καὶ ὁ ἱππεὺς οὐ μὴ σώσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ,

15 Y el que toma el arco no resistirá, ni escapará el ligero de pies, ni el que cabalga en caballo salvará su vida.

15 He who handles the bow won’t stand. He who is swift of foot won’t escape. He who rides the horse won’t deliver himself.

16 καὶ ὁ κραταιὸς οὐ μὴ εὑρήσει τὴν καρδίαν αὐτοῦ ἐν δυναστείαις, ὁ γυμνὸς διώξεται ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ, λέγει Κύριος.

16 El esforzado entre esforzados huirá desnudo aquel día, dice Jehová.

16 He who is courageous among the mighty will flee away naked on that day,” says Yahweh.
