6 Te ga gazi noga, noge ubogih, stopala nevoljnih.
7 Put je pravedniku prav, Ti ravniš stazu pravednome.
8 I na putu sudova Tvojih, Gospode, čekamo Te; Tvoje ime i Tvoj spomen žudi duša.
14 Pomreše, neće oživeti, mrtvi budući neće ustati, jer si ih Ti pohodio i istrebio, zatro svaki spomen njihov.
16 Gospode, u nevolji tražiše Te, i zvaše pokornu molitvu kad si ih karao.
19 Oživeće mrtvi tvoji, i moje će mrtvo telo ustati.
21 Jer, gle, Gospod izlazi iz mesta svog da pohodi stanovnike zemaljske za bezakonje njihovo, i zemlja će otkriti krv svoju niti će više pokrivati pobijene svoje.

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations).

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
