2 Обукао си светлост као хаљину, разапео небо као шатор;
2 El que se cubre de luz como de vestidura, que extiende los cielos como una cortina;
3 Que establece sus aposentos entre las aguas; el que pone las nubes por su carroza, el que anda sobre las alas del viento;
7 A tu reprensión huyeron; al sonido de tu trueno se apresuraron;
20 Стереш таму, и бива ноћ, по којој излази све зверје шумско;
25 Гле, море велико и широко, ту гмижу без броја, животиња мала и велика;
31 Sea la gloria de Jehová para siempre; alégrese Jehová en sus obras;
Aleluya.

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations).

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
