1 Prođite po ulicama jerusalimskim, i vidite sada i razberite i potražite po ulicama njegovim, hoćete li naći čoveka, ima li ko da čini što je pravo i da traži istinu, pa ću oprostiti.
1 DISCURRID por las plazas de Jerusalem, y mirad ahora, y sabed, y buscad en sus plazas si halláis hombre, si hay alguno que haga juicio, que busque verdad; y yo la perdonaré.
1 “Run back and forth through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in its wide places, if you can find a man, if there is anyone who does justly, who seeks truth, then I will pardon her.
2 Ako i govore: Tako da je živ Gospod! Opet se krivo kunu.
2 Y si dijeren: Vive Jehová; por tanto jurarán mentira.
2 Though they say, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ surely they swear falsely.”
3 Gospode! Ne gledaju li oči Tvoje na istinu! Biješ ih, ali ih ne boli; satireš ih, ali neće da prime nauke, tvrđe im je lice od kamena, neće da se obrate.
3 Oh Jehová, ¿no miran tus ojos á la verdad? Azotástelos, y no les dolió; consumístelos, y no quisieron recibir corrección; endurecieron sus rostros más que la piedra, no quisieron tornarse.
3 O Yahweh, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.
4 I ja rekoh: Siromasi su, ludo rade, jer ne znaju put Gospodnji, zakon Boga svog.
4 Yo empero dije: Por cierto ellos son pobres, enloquecido han, pues no conocen el camino de Jehová, el juicio de su Dios.
4 Then I said, “Surely these are poor. They are foolish; for they don’t know Yahweh’s way, nor the law of their God.
5 Idem k vlasteljima, i njima ću govoriti, jer oni znaju put Gospodnji, zakon Boga svog; ali i oni izlomiše jaram, pokidaše sveze.
5 Irme he á los grandes, y hablaréles; porque ellos conocen el camino de Jehová, el juicio de su Dios. Ciertamente ellos también quebraron el yugo, rompieron las coyundas.
5 I will go to the great men and will speak to them, for they know the way of Yahweh, and the law of their God.” But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.
6 Za to će ih pobiti lav iz šume, vuk će ih večernji potrti, ris će vrebati kod gradova njihovih, ko god iziđe iz njih biće rastrgnut, jer je mnogo greha njihovih i silni su odmeti njihovi.
6 Por tanto, león del monte los herirá, destruirálos lobo del desierto, tigre acechará sobre sus ciudades; cualquiera que de ellas saliere, será arrebatado: porque sus rebeliones se han multiplicado, hanse aumentado sus deslealtades.
6 Therefore a lion out of the forest will kill them. A wolf of the evenings will destroy them. A leopard will watch against their cities. Everyone who goes out there will be torn in pieces, because their transgressions are many and their backsliding has increased.
7 Kako ću ti oprostiti to? Sinovi tvoji ostaviše mene, i kunu se onima koji nisu bogovi. Kako ih nasitih, stadoše činiti preljubu, i u kuću kurvinu stiču se gomilom.
7 ¿Cómo te he de perdonar por esto? Sus hijos me dejaron, y juraron por lo que no es Dios. Saciélos, y adulteraron, y en casa de ramera se juntaron en compañías.
7 “How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by what are no gods. When I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the prostitutes’ houses.
8 Jutrom su kad ustaju kao tovni konji, svaki rže za ženom bližnjeg svog.
8 Como caballos bien hartos fueron á la mañana, cada cual relinchaba á la mujer de su prójimo.
8 They were as fed horses roaming at large. Everyone neighed after his neighbor’s wife.
9 Za to li neću pohoditi? Veli Gospod, i duša moja neće li se osvetiti takvom narodu?
9 ¿No había de hacer visitación sobre esto? dijo Jehová. De una gente como ésta ¿no se había de vengar mi alma?
9 Shouldn’t I punish them for these things?” says Yahweh. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
10 Izađite mu na zidove i razvalite, ali nemojte sasvim zatrti, skinite mu prevornice, jer nisu Gospodnje.
10 Escalad sus muros, y destruid; mas no hagáis consumación: quitad las almenas de sus muros, porque no son de Jehová.
10 “Go up on her walls, and destroy, but don’t make a full end. Take away her branches, for they are not Yahweh’s.
11 Jer me sasvim izneveri dom Izrailjev i dom Judin, veli Gospod.
11 Porque resueltamente se rebelaron contra mí la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá, dice Jehová.
11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me,” says Yahweh.
12 Udariše u bah Gospodu i rekoše: Nije tako, neće nas zlo zadesiti, i nećemo videti mača ni gladi.
12 Negaron á Jehová, y dijeron: El no es, y no vendrá mal sobre nosotros, ni veremos cuchillo ni hambre;
12 They have denied Yahweh, and said, “It is not he. Evil won’t come on us. We won’t see sword or famine.
13 A ti proroci otići će u vetar, i reči nema u njima, njima će biti tako.
13 Antes los profetas serán como viento, y no hay en ellos palabra; así se hará á ellos.
13 The prophets will become wind, and the word is not in them. Thus it will be done to them.”
14 Zato ovako veli Gospod Gospod nad vojskama: Kad tako govorite, evo ja ću učiniti da reči moje u ustima tvojim budu kao oganj, a ovaj narod drva, te će ih spaliti.
14 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová Dios de los ejércitos: Porque hablasteis esta palabra, he aquí yo pongo en tu boca mis palabras por fuego, y á este pueblo por leños, y los consumirá.
14 Therefore Yahweh, the God of Armies says, “Because you speak this word, behold, I will make my words in your mouth fire, and this people wood, and it will devour them.
15 Gle, ja ću dovesti na vas narod iz daleka, dome Izrailjev, veli Gospod, narod jak, narod star, narod kome jezika nećeš znati niti ćeš razumeti šta govori;
15 He aquí yo traigo sobre vosotros gente de lejos, oh casa de Israel, dice Jehová; gente robusta, gente antigua, gente cuya lengua ignorarás, y no entenderás lo que hablare.
15 Behold, I will bring a nation on you from far away, house of Israel,” says Yahweh. “It is a mighty nation. It is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you don’t know and don’t understand what they say.
16 Kome je tul kao grob otvoren, svi su jaki.
16 Su aljaba como sepulcro abierto, todos valientes.
16 Their quiver is an open tomb. They are all mighty men.
17 I poješće letinu tvoju i hleb tvoj, što sinovi tvoji i kćeri tvoje hteše jesti, poješće ovce tvoje i goveda tvoja, poješće vinovu lozu tvoju i smokve tvoje, i mačem će zatrti tvrde gradove tvoje u koje se uzdaš.
17 Y comerá tu mies y tu pan, [que] habían de comer tus hijos y tus hijas; comerá tus ovejas y tus vacas, comerá tus viñas y tus higueras; y tus ciudades fuertes en que tú confías, tornará en nada á cuchillo.
17 They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.
18 Ali ni tada, veli Gospod, neću vas sasvim zatrti.
18 Empero en aquellos días, dice Jehová, no os acabaré del todo.
18 “But even in those days,” says Yahweh, “I will not make a full end of you.
19 Jer kad kažete: Zašto nam čini Gospod Bog naš sve ovo? Tada im reci: Kako ostaviste mene i služiste tuđim bogovima u zemlji svojoj, tako ćete služiti tuđincima u zemlji koja nije vaša.
19 Y será que cuando dijereis: ¿Por qué hizo Jehová el Dios nuestro con nosotros todas estas cosas? entonces les dirás: De la manera que me dejasteis á mí, y servisteis á dioses ajenos en vuestra tierra, así serviréis á extraños en tierra ajena.
19 It will happen when you say, ‘Why has Yahweh our God done all these things to us?’ Then you shall say to them, ‘Just as you have forsaken me and served foreign gods in your land, so you will serve strangers in a land that is not yours.’
20 Javite ovo u domu Jakovljevom, i oglasite u Judi, govoreći:
20 Denunciad esto en la casa de Jacob, y haced que esto se oiga en Judá, diciendo:
20 “Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
21 Čujte ovo, ludi i bezumni narode, koji imate oči, a ne vidite, koji imate uši, a ne čujete.
21 Oid ahora esto, pueblo necio y sin corazón, que tienen ojos y no ven, que tienen oídos y no oyen:
21 ‘Hear this now, foolish people without understanding, who have eyes, and don’t see, who have ears, and don’t hear:
22 Mene li se nećete bojati? Veli Gospod; od mene li nećete drhtati? Koji postavih pesak moru za među večnom naredbom, i neće preći preko nje; ako mu i ustaju vali, neće nadjačati, ako i buče, neće je preći.
22 ¿A mí no temeréis? dice Jehová; ¿no os amedrentaréis á mi presencia, que al mar por ordenación eterna, la cual no quebrantará, puse arena por término? Se levantarán tempestades, mas no prevalecerán; bramarán sus ondas, mas no lo pasarán.
22 Don’t you fear me?’ says Yahweh; ‘Won’t you tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it can’t pass it? Though its waves toss themselves, yet they can’t prevail. Though they roar, they still can’t pass over it.’
23 Ali je u naroda ovog srce uporno i nepokorno; odstupiše i otidoše.
23 Empero este pueblo tiene corazón falso y rebelde; tornáronse y fuéronse.
23 “But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart. They have revolted and gone.
24 Niti rekoše u srcu svom: Bojmo se Gospoda Boga svog, koji nam daje dažd rani i pozni na vreme, i čuva nam nedelje određene za žetvu.
24 Y no dijeron en su corazón: Temamos ahora á Jehová Dios nuestro, que da lluvia temprana y tardía en su tiempo; los tiempos establecidos de la siega nos guarda.
24 They don’t say in their heart, ‘Let’s now fear Yahweh our God, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season, who preserves to us the appointed weeks of the harvest.’
25 Bezakonja vaša odvraćaju to, i gresi vaši odbijaju dobro od vas.
25 Vuestras iniquidades han estorbado estas cosas; y vuestros pecados apartaron de vosotros el bien.
25 “Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withheld good from you.
26 Jer se nalaze u narodu mom bezbožnici, koji vrebaju kao ptičari kad se pritaje, meću zamke da hvataju ljude.
26 Porque fueron hallados en mi pueblo impíos; acechaban como quien pone lazos; pusieron trampa para tomar hombres.
26 For wicked men are found among my people. They watch, as fowlers lie in wait. They set a trap. They catch men.
27 Kao krletka puna ptica tako su kuće njihove pune prevare; zato postaše veliki i obogatiše.
27 Como jaula llena de pájaros, así están sus casas llenas de engaño: así se hicieron grandes y ricos.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit. Therefore they have become great, and grew rich.
28 Ugojiše se, sjaju se, mimoilaze zlo, ne čine pravde ni siročetu, i opet im je dobro, i ne daju pravice ubogima.
28 Engordaron y pusiéronse lustrosos, y sobrepujaron los hechos del malo: no juzgaron la causa, la causa del huérfano; con todo hiciéronse prósperos, y la causa de los pobres no juzgaron.
28 They have grown fat. They shine; yes, they excel in deeds of wickedness. They don’t plead the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and they don’t defend the rights of the needy.
29 Zato li neću pohoditi? Veli Gospod, i duša moja neće li se osvetiti takvom narodu?
29 ¿No tengo de visitar sobre esto? dice Jehová; ¿y de tal gente no se vengará mi alma?
29 “Shouldn’t I punish for these things?” says Yahweh. “Shouldn’t my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
30 Čudo i strahota biva u zemlji.
30 Cosa espantosa y fea es hecha en la tierra:
30 “An astonishing and horrible thing has happened in the land.
31 Proroci prorokuju lažno, i sveštenici gospoduju preko njih, i narodu je mom to milo. A šta ćete raditi na posledak?
31 Los profetas profetizaron mentira, y los sacerdotes dirigían por manos de ellos; y mi pueblo así lo quiso. ¿Qué pues haréis á su fin?
31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority; and my people love to have it so. What will you do in the end of it?

Cómo se eligieron
«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
