1 Breme dolini viđenja. Šta ti je te si sva izašla na krovove?
1 CARGA del valle de la visión. ¿Qué tienes ahora, que toda tú te has subido sobre los terrados?
1 The burden of the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
2 Grade puni vike i vreve, grade veseli! Tvoji pobijeni nisu pobijeni mačem niti pogiboše u boju.
2 Tú, llena de alborotos, ciudad turbulenta, ciudad alegre; tus muertos no son muertos á cuchillo, ni muertos en guerra.
2 You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town, your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
3 Glavari tvoji uzmakoše svikoliki, povezaše ih strelci; šta se god nađe tvojih, svi su povezani, ako i pobegoše daleko.
3 Todos tus príncipes juntos huyeron del arco, fueron atados: todos los que en ti se hallaron, fueron atados juntamente, [aunque] lejos se habían huído.
3 All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
4 Zato rekoh: Prođite me se, da plačem gorko; ne trudite se da me tešite za pogiblju kćeri naroda mog.
4 Por esto dije: Dejadme, lloraré amargamente; no os afanéis por consolarme de la destrucción de la hija de mi pueblo.
4 Therefore I said, “Look away from me. I will weep bitterly. Don’t labor to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
5 Jer je ovo dan muke i potiranja i smetnje od Gospoda, Gospoda nad vojskama, u dolini viđenja; obaliće zid, i vika će biti do gore.
5 Porque día es de alboroto, y de huella, y de fatiga por el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos en el valle de la visión, para derribar el muro, y [dar] grita al monte.
5 For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity from the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.”
6 I Elam uze Tul, s kolima ljudi i s konjicima, i Kir istače štit.
6 Y Elam tomó aljaba en carro de hombres y de caballeros; y Chîr descubrió escudo.
6 Elam carried his quiver, with chariots of men and horsemen; and Kir uncovered the shield.
7 I krasne doline tvoje napuniše se kola, i konjici se namestiše pred vratima.
7 Y acaeció que tus hermosos valles fueron llenos de carros, y los de á caballo acamparon á la puerta.
7 Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen set themselves in array at the gate.
8 I odastre se zastirač Judin; i pogledao si u to vreme na oružje u kući šumskoj.
8 Y desnudó la cobertura de Judá; y miraste en aquel día hacia la casa de armas del bosque.
8 He took away the covering of Judah; and you looked in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
9 I videste da je mnogo proloma na gradu Davidovom, i sabraste vodu u donjem jezeru.
9 Y visteis las roturas de la ciudad de David, que se multiplicaron; y recogisteis las aguas de la pesquera de abajo.
9 You saw the breaches of David’s city, that they were many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
10 I izbrojaste kuće jerusalimske, i razvaliste kuće da utvrdite zid.
10 Y contasteis las casas de Jerusalem, y derribasteis casas para fortificar el muro.
10 You counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.
11 I načiniste jaz među dva zida za vodu iz starog jezera; ali ne pogledaste na Onog koji je to učinio i ne obazreste se na Onog koji je to odavno spremio.
11 E hicisteis foso entre los dos muros con las aguas de la pesquera vieja: y no tuvisteis respeto al que la hizo, ni mirasteis de lejos al que la labró.
11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you didn’t look to him who had done this, neither did you have respect for him who planned it long ago.
12 I zva vas Gospod nad vojskama u onaj dan da plačete i ridate i da skubete kose i pripašete kostret;
12 Por tanto el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos llamó en este día á llanto y á endechas, á mesar y á vestir saco.
12 In that day, the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, called to weeping, to mourning, to baldness, and to dressing in sackcloth;
13 A gle, radost i veselje, ubijaju goveda, kolju ovce, jedu meso i piju vino govoreći: Jedimo i pijmo, jer ćemo sutra umreti.
13 Y he aquí gozo y alegría, matando vacas y degollando ovejas, comer carne y beber vino, [diciendo]: Comamos y bebamos, que mañana moriremos.
13 and behold, there is joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine: “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
14 Ali Gospod nad vojskama javi mi: Neće vam se oprostiti ovo bezakonje do smrti, veli Gospod, Gospod nad vojskama.
14 Esto fué revelado á mis oídos de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos: Que este pecado no os será perdonado hasta que muráis, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
14 Yahweh of Armies revealed himself in my ears, “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.
15 Ovako veli Gospod, Gospod nad vojskama: Idi k onom rizničaru, k Somni, upravitelju dvorskom,
15 Jehová de los ejércitos dice así: Ve, entra á este tesorero, á Sebna el mayordomo, [y dile]:
15 The Lord, Yahweh of Armies says, “Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
16 i reci mu: Šta ćeš ti tu? I ko ti je tu, te si tu istesao sebi grob? Istesao si sebi grob na visokom mestu i spremio si sebi stan u kamenu.
16 ¿Qué tienes tú aquí, ó á quién tienes tú aquí, que labraste aquí sepulcro para ti, [como] el que en lugar alto labra su sepultura, ó el que esculpe para sí morada en una peña?
16 ‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!”
17 Evo, čoveče, Gospod će te baciti daleko i zatrpaće te.
17 He aquí que Jehová te trasportará en duro cautiverio, y de cierto te cubrirá [el rostro].
17 Behold, Yahweh will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
18 Zavitlaće te i hititi kao loptu u zemlju prostranu; onde ćeš umreti i onde će biti kola slave tvoje, sramoto domu gospodara svog;
18 Te echará á rodar con ímpetu, como á bola por tierra larga de términos: allá morirás, y allá estarán los carros de tu gloria, oh vergüenza de la casa de tu señor.
18 He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you disgrace of your lord’s house.
19 i svrći ću te s mesta tvog, i isteraću te iz službe tvoje.
19 Y arrojarte he de tu lugar, y de tu puesto te empujaré.
19 I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
20 I u to vreme pozvaću slugu svog Elijakima sina Helkijinog;
20 Y será que, en aquel día, llamaré á mi siervo Eliacim, hijo de Hilcías;
20 It will happen in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
21 i obući ću mu tvoju haljinu, i tvojim ću ga pojasom opasati, i tvoju ću mu vlast dati u ruku, i biće otac Jerusalimljanima i domu Judinom.
21 Y vestirélo de tus vestiduras, y le fortaleceré con tu talabarte, y entregaré en sus manos tu potestad; y será padre al morador de Jerusalem, y á la casa de Judá.
21 and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 I metnuću mu ključ od doma Davidovog na rame: kad on otvori, neće niko zatvoriti, i kad on zatvori, neće niko otvoriti.
22 Y pondré la llave de la casa de David sobre su hombro; y abrirá, y nadie cerrará; cerrará, y nadie abrirá.
22 I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
23 I kao klin uglaviću ga na tvrdom mestu, i biće presto slave domu oca svog;
23 E hincarélo como clavo en lugar firme; y será por asiento de honra á la casa de su padre.
23 I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father’s house.
24 i o njemu će se vešati sva slava doma oca njegovog, sinova i unuka, svakojaki sudovi, i najmanji, i čaše i mehovi.
24 Y colgarán de él toda la honra de la casa de su padre, los hijos y los nietos, todos los vasos menores, desde los vasos de beber hasta todos los instrumentos de música.
24 They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the pitchers.
25 U to vreme, veli Gospod nad vojskama, pomeriće se klin uglavljen na tvrdom mestu, i izvadiće se i pašće, i teža što je na njemu propašće; jer Gospod reče.
25 En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, el clavo hincado en lugar firme será quitado, y será quebrado y caerá; y la carga que sobre él se puso, se echará á perder; porque Jehová habló.
25 “In that day,” says Yahweh of Armies, “the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for Yahweh has spoken it.”

«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
So with the Scribes; suppose them to speak out of their own heart; thou wilt hear, "Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we shall die." Suppose them to speak from Moses' seat; thou wilt hear, "Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not bear false witness.
