1 У почетку створи Бог небо и земљу.
1 EN el principio crió Dios los cielos y la tierra.
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
2 А земља беше без обличја и пуста, и беше тама над безданом; и дух Божји дизаше се над водом.
2 Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía, y las tinieblas estaban sobre la haz del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre la haz de las aguas.
2 The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God’s Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters.
3 И рече Бог: Нека буде светлост. И би светлост.
3 Y dijo Dios: Sea la luz: y fué la luz.
3 God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4 И виде Бог светлост да је добра; и растави Бог светлост од таме.
4 Y vió Dios que la luz era buena: y apartó Dios la luz de las tinieblas.
4 God saw the light, and saw that it was good. God divided the light from the darkness.
5 И светлост назва Бог дан, а таму назва ноћ. И би вече и би јутро, дан први.
5 Y llamó Dios á la luz Día, y á las tinieblas llamó Noche: y fué la tarde y la mañana un día.
5 God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day.
6 Потом рече Бог: Нека буде свод посред воде, да раставља воду од воде.
6 Y dijo Dios: Haya expansión en medio de las aguas, y separe las aguas de las aguas.
6 God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
7 И створи Бог свод, и растави воду под сводом од воде над сводом; и би тако.
7 E hizo Dios la expansión, y apartó las aguas que estaban debajo de la expansión, de las aguas que estaban sobre la expansión: y fué así.
7 God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
8 А свод назва Бог небо. И би вече и би јутро, дан други.
8 Y llamó Dios á la expansión Cielos: y fué la tarde y la mañana el día segundo.
8 God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.
9 Потом рече Бог: Нека се сабере вода што је под небом на једно место, и нека се покаже суво. И би тако.
9 Y dijo Dios: Júntense las aguas que [están] debajo de los cielos en un lugar, y descúbrase la seca: y fué así.
9 God said, “Let the waters under the sky be gathered together to one place, and let the dry land appear;” and it was so.
10 И суво назва Бог земља, а зборишта водена назва мора; и виде Бог да је добро.
10 Y llamó Dios á la seca Tierra, y á la reunión de las aguas llamó Mares: y vió Dios que era bueno.
10 God called the dry land “earth”, and the gathering together of the waters he called “seas”. God saw that it was good.
11 Опет рече Бог: Нека пусти земља из себе траву, биље, што носи семе, и дрво родно, које рађа род по својим врстама, у коме ће бити семе његово на земљи. И би тако.
11 Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra hierba verde, hierba que dé simiente; árbol de fruto que dé fruto según su género, que su simiente esté en él, sobre la tierra: y fué así.
11 God said, “Let the earth yield grass, herbs yielding seeds, and fruit trees bearing fruit after their kind, with their seeds in it, on the earth;” and it was so.
12 И пусти земља из себе траву, биље, што носи семе по својим врстама, и дрво, које рађа род, у коме је семе његово по његовим врстама. И виде Бог да је добро.
12 Y produjo la tierra hierba verde, hierba que da simiente según su naturaleza, y árbol que da fruto, cuya simiente está en él, según su género: y vió Dios que era bueno.
12 The earth yielded grass, herbs yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit, with their seeds in it, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.
13 И би вече и би јутро, дан трећи.
13 Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día tercero.
13 There was evening and there was morning, a third day.
14 Потом рече Бог: Нека буду видела на своду небеском, да деле дан и ноћ, да буду знаци временима и данима и годинама;
14 Y dijo Dios: Sean lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para apartar el día y la noche: y sean por señales, y para las estaciones, y para días y años;
14 God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years;
15 и нека светле на своду небеском, да обасјавају земљу. И би тако.
15 Y sean por lumbreras en la expansión de los cielos para alumbrar sobre la tierra: y fué así.
15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth;” and it was so.
16 И створи Бог два видела велика: видело веће да управља даном, и видело мање да управља ноћу, и звезде.
16 E hizo Dios las dos grandes lumbreras; la lumbrera mayor para que señorease en el día, y la lumbrera menor para que señorease en la noche: [hizo] también las estrellas.
16 God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.
17 И постави их Бог на своду небеском да обасјавају земљу.
17 Y púsolas Dios en la expansión de los cielos, para alumbrar sobre la tierra,
17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light to the earth,
18 И да управљају даном и ноћу, и да деле светлост од таме. И виде Бог да је добро.
18 Y para señorear en el día y en la noche, y para apartar la luz y las tinieblas: y vió Dios que era bueno.
18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. God saw that it was good.
19 И би вече и би јутро, дан четврти.
19 Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día cuarto.
19 There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
20 Потом рече Бог: Нека врве по води живе душе, и птице нека лете изнад земље под свод небески.
20 Y dijo Dios: Produzcan las aguas reptil de ánima viviente, y aves que vuelen sobre la tierra, en la abierta expansión de los cielos.
20 God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.”
21 И створи Бог китове велике и све живе душе што се мичу, што проврвеше по води по врстама својим, и све птице крилате по врстама њиховим. И виде Бог да је добро;
21 Y crió Dios las grandes ballenas, y toda cosa viva que anda arrastrando, que las aguas produjeron según su género, y toda ave alada según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.
21 God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.
22 и благослови их Бог говорећи: Рађајте се и множите се, и напуните воду по морима, и птице нека се множе на земљи.
22 Y Dios los bendijo diciendo: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid las aguas en los mares, y las aves se multipliquen en la tierra.
22 God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”
23 И би вече и би јутро, дан пети.
23 Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día quinto.
23 There was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
24 Потом рече Бог: Нека земља пусти из себе душе живе по врстама њиховим, стоку и ситне животиње и звери земаљске по врстама њиховим. И би тако.
24 Y dijo Dios: Produzca la tierra seres vivientes según su género, bestias y serpientes y animales de la tierra según su especie: y fué así.
24 God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures after their kind, livestock, creeping things, and animals of the earth after their kind;” and it was so.
25 И створи Бог звери земаљске по врстама њиховим, и стоку по врстама њеним, и све ситне животиње на земљи по врстама њиховим. И виде Бог да је добро.
25 E hizo Dios animales de la tierra según su género, y ganado según su género, y todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra según su especie: y vió Dios que era bueno.
25 God made the animals of the earth after their kind, and the livestock after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind. God saw that it was good.
26 Потом рече Бог: Да начинимо човека по свом обличју, као што смо ми, који ће бити господар од риба морских и од птица небеских и од стоке и од целе земље и од свих животиња што се мичу по земљи.
26 Y dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre á nuestra imagen, conforme á nuestra semejanza; y señoree en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en las bestias, y en toda la tierra, y en todo animal que anda arrastrando sobre la tierra.
26 God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 И створи Бог човека по обличју свом, по обличју Божјем створи га; мушко и женско створи их.
27 Y crió Dios al hombre á su imagen, á imagen de Dios lo crió; varón y hembra los crió.
27 God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
28 И благослови их Бог, и рече им Бог: Рађајте се и множите се, и напуните земљу, и владајте њом, и будите господари од риба морских и од птица небеских и од свих звери што се миче по земљи.
28 Y los bendijo Dios; y díjoles Dios: Fructificad y multiplicad, y henchid la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y señoread en los peces de la mar, y en las aves de los cielos, y en todas las bestias que se mueven sobre la tierra.
28 God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 И још рече Бог: Ево, дао сам вам све биље што носи семе по свој земљи, и сва дрвета родна која носе семе; то ће вам бити за храну.
29 Y dijo Dios: He aquí que os he dado toda hierba que da simiente, que está sobre la haz de toda la tierra; y todo árbol en que hay fruto de árbol que da simiente, seros ha para comer.
29 God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.
30 А свим зверима земаљским и свим птицама небеским и свему што се миче на земљи и у чему има душа жива, дао сам сву траву да једу. И би тако.
30 Y á toda bestia de la tierra, y á todas las aves de los cielos, y á todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra, en que hay vida, toda hierba verde [les será] para comer: y fué así.
30 To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.
31 Тада погледа Бог све што је створио, и гле, добро беше веома. И би вече и би јутро, дан шести.
31 Y vió Dios todo lo que había hecho, y he aquí que era bueno en gran manera. Y fué la tarde y la mañana el día sexto.
31 God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

Cómo se eligieron
«Comentario» es el comienzo de una homilía o exposición sobre este capítulo (homilías de san Juan Crisóstomo; tratados, sermones y comentarios a los Salmos de san Agustín). «Cita» es una frase en la que las notas de la propia edición identifican la cita de un versículo de este capítulo; solo se conserva si el texto coincide con el versículo. Solo se usan obras de autoría segura. Los Salmos siguen la numeración hebrea (Agustín usa la de los Setenta: su Salmo 50 es aquí el 51).
Moses, then, they declare, by his mode of beginning the account of the creation, has at the commencement pointed out the mother of all things when he says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth;" for, as they maintain, by naming these four,--God, beginning, heaven, and earth,--he set forth their Tetrad.
And who is this but our God, the God that created heaven and earth, and filleth them, because by filling them He created them?
