¿Por qué mi Biblia dice algo distinto?
- Deuteronomio 32:8: ¿«hijos de Israel» o «hijos de Dios»?
El hebreo masorético dice que Dios fijó las fronteras de los pueblos «según el número de los hijos de Israel». Un manuscrito hebreo de Qumrán dice «hijos de Dios», y la Septuaginta dice «ángeles de Dios». Muchos estudiosos, judíos y cristianos, piensan hoy que «hijos de Dios» es la lectura más antigua. La Iglesia ortodoxa lee «ángeles de Dios».
