1 Congregatique sunt omnes filii Israël in Silo, ibique fixerunt tabernaculum testimonii, et fuit eis terra subjecta.
1 Y TODA la congregación de los hijos de Israel se juntó en Silo, y asentaron allí el tabernáculo del testimonio, después que la tierra les fué sujeta.
1 The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them.
2 Remanserant autem filiorum Israël septem tribus, quæ necdum acceperant possessiones suas.
2 Mas habían quedado en los hijos de Israel siete tribus, á las cuales aun no habían repartido su posesión.
2 Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.
3 Ad quos Josue ait: Usquequo marcetis ignavia, et non intratis ad possidendam terram, quam Dominus Deus patrum vestrorum dedit vobis?
3 Y Josué dijo á los hijos de Israel: ¿Hasta cuándo seréis negligentes para venir á poseer la tierra que os ha dado Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres?
3 Joshua said to the children of Israel, “How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4 Eligite de singulis tribubus ternos viros, ut mittam eos, et pergant atque circumeant terram, et describant eam juxta numerum uniuscujusque multitudinis: referantque ad me quod descripserint.
4 Señalad tres varones de cada tribu, para que yo los envíe, y que ellos se levanten, y recorran la tierra, y la describan conforme á sus heredades, y se tornen á mí.
4 Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; then they shall come to me.
5 Dividite vobis terram in septem partes: Judas sit in terminis suis ab australi plaga, et domus Joseph ab aquilone.
5 Y la dividirán en siete partes: y Judá estará en su término al mediodía, y [los de] la casa de José estarán en el suyo al norte.
5 They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north.
6 Mediam inter hos terram in septem partes describite: et huc venietis ad me, ut coram Domino Deo vestro mittam vobis hic sortem:
6 Vosotros, pues, delinearéis la tierra en siete partes, y me traeréis la [descripción] aquí, y yo os echaré las suertes aquí delante de Jehová nuestro Dios.
6 You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.
7 quia non est inter vos pars Levitarum, sed sacerdotium Domini est eorum hæreditas. Gad autem et Ruben, et dimidia tribus Manasse, jam acceperant possessiones suas trans Jordanem ad orientalem plagam, quas dedit eis Moyses famulus Domini.
7 Empero los Levitas ninguna parte tienen entre vosotros; porque el sacerdocio de Jehová es la heredad de ellos: Gad también y Rubén, y la media tribu de Manasés, ya han recibido su heredad de la otra parte del Jordán al oriente, la cual les dió Moisés siervo de Jehová.
7 However, the Levites have no portion among you; for the priesthood of Yahweh is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance east of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of Yahweh gave them.”
8 Cumque surrexissent viri, ut pergerent ad describendam terram, præcepit eis Josue, dicens: Circuite terram, et describite eam, ac revertimini ad me: ut hic coram Domino, in Silo, mittam vobis sortem.
8 Levantándose pues aquellos varones, fueron: y mandó Josué á los que iban para delinear la tierra, diciéndoles: Id, recorred la tierra, y delineadla, y tornad á mí, para que yo os eche las suertes aquí delante de Jehová en Silo.
8 The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh in Shiloh.”
9 Itaque perrexerunt: et lustrantes eam, in septem partes diviserunt, scribentes in volumine. Reversique sunt ad Josue in castra Silo.
9 Fueron pues aquellos varones y pasearon la tierra, delineándola por ciudades en siete partes en un libro, y tornaron á Josué al campo en Silo.
9 The men went and passed through the land, and surveyed it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
10 Qui misit sortes coram Domino in Silo, divisitque terram filiis Israël in septem partes.
10 Y Josué les echó las suertes delante de Jehová en Silo; y allí repartió Josué la tierra á los hijos de Israel por sus porciones.
10 Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before Yahweh. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.
11 Et ascendit sors prima filiorum Benjamin per familias suas, ut possiderent terram inter filios Juda et filios Joseph.
11 Y sacóse la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias: y salió el término de su suerte entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.
11 The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12 Fuitque terminus eorum contra aquilonem a Jordane: pergens juxta latus Jericho septentrionalis plagæ, et inde contra occidentem ad montana conscendens et perveniens ad solitudinem Bethaven,
12 Y fué el término de ellos al lado del norte desde el Jordán: y sube aquel término al lado de Jericó al norte; sube después al monte hacia el occidente, y viene á salir al desierto de Beth-aven:
12 Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven.
13 atque pertransiens juxta Luzam ad meridiem, ipsa est Bethel: descenditque in Ataroth Addar, in montem qui est ad meridiem Beth-horon inferioris:
13 Y de allí pasa aquel término á Luz, por el lado de Luz (esta es Beth-el) hacia el mediodía. Y desciende este término de Ataroth-addar al monte que está al mediodía de Beth-oron la de abajo.
13 The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (also called Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.
14 et inclinatur circuiens contra mare ad meridiem montis qui respicit Beth-horon contra Africum: suntque exitus ejus in Cariath-baal, quæ vocatur et Cariathiarim, urbem filiorum Juda. Hæc est plaga contra mare, ad occidentem.
14 Y torna este término, y da vuelta al lado de la mar, al mediodía hasta el monte que está delante de Beth-oron al mediodía; y viene á salir á Chîriath-baal, que es Chîriath-jearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este es el lado del occidente.
14 The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.
15 A meridie autem ex parte Cariathiarim egreditur terminus contra mare, et pervenit usque ad fontem aquarum Nephtoa.
15 Y el lado del mediodía es desde el cabo de Chîriath-jearim, y sale el término al occidente, y sale á la fuente de las aguas de Nephtoa:
15 The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.
16 Descenditque in partem montis, qui respicit vallem filiorum Ennom: et est contra septentrionalem plagam in extrema parte vallis Raphaim. Descenditque in Geennom (id est, vallem Ennom) juxta latus Jebusæi ad austrum: et pervenit ad fontem Rogel,
16 Y desciende aqueste término al cabo del monte que está delante del valle del hijo de Hinnom, que está en la campiña de los gigantes hacia el norte: desciende luego al valle de Hinnom, al lado del Jebuseo al mediodía, y [de allí] desciende á la fuente de Rogel:
16 The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.
17 transiens ad aquilonem, et egrediens ad Ensemes, id est, fontem solis:
17 Y del norte torna y sale á Ensemes, y [de allí] sale á Geliloth, que está delante de la subida de Adummim, y descendía á la piedra de Bohan, hijo de Rubén:
17 It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
18 et pertransit usque ad tumulos, qui sunt e regione ascensus Adommim: descenditque ad Abenboën, id est, lapidem Boën filii Ruben: et pertransit ex latere aquilonis ad campestria: descenditque in planitiem,
18 Y pasa al lado que está delante de la campiña del norte, y desciende á los llanos:
18 It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.
19 et prætergreditur contra aquilonem Beth Hagla: suntque exitus ejus contra linguam maris salsissimi ab aquilone in fine Jordanis ad australem plagam:
19 Y torna á pasar este término por el lado de Beth-hogla hacia el norte, y viene á salir el término á la lengua del mar Salado al norte, al cabo del Jordán al mediodía. Este es el término de hacia el mediodía.
19 The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.
20 qui est terminus illius ab oriente. Hæc est possessio filiorum Benjamin per terminos suos in circuitu, et familias suas.
20 Y el Jordán acaba aqueste término al lado del oriente. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín por sus términos alrededor, conforme á sus familias.
20 The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families.
21 Fueruntque civitates ejus, Jericho et Beth Hagla et vallis Casis,
21 Las ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, por sus familias, fueron Jericó, Beth-hogla, y el valle de Casis,
21 Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,
22 Beth Araba et Samaraim et Bethel
22 Beth-araba, Samaraim, y Beth-el;
22 Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,
24 villa Emona et Ophni et Gabee: civitates duodecim, et villæ earum.
24 Y Cephar-hammonai, Ophni, y Gaba; doce ciudades con sus aldeas:
24 Chephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.
28 et Sela, Eleph, et Jebus, quæ est Jerusalem, Gabaath et Cariath: civitates quatuordecim, et villæ earum. Hæc est possessio filiorum Benjamin juxta familias suas.
28 Y Sela, Eleph, Jebus, que es Jerusalem, Gibeath, y Chîriath; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta es la heredad de los hijos de Benjamín, conforme á sus familias.
28 Zelah, Eleph, the Jebusite (also called Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
